We're thrilled to announce the opening of the historic Claremont Hotel! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This local landmark features a bistro, courtyard for indoor and outdoor dining, a variety of function spaces and a rooftop bar. The redevelopment respects and maintains the key historical built form while creating a vibrant and refined hotel that enhances the experience of patrons. Newly extended forms and interventions within the existing fabric defines a crafted design that drenches the previously dark internal spaces in natural light.

It has been wonderful to see so many people enjoying the space and we hope to see you all at The Claremont soon!

170-180 Brisbane Street: Various architectural elements from the existing have been sympathetically articulated into the new townhouses such as full depth balconies, vertical patterns on the existing parapet represented through vertical grooves in the new external cladding and character inspired glazing. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
All habitable spaces have quality access to ventilation and natural lighting with full height glazing to living rooms and stair wells. Reclaimed face brick and metal cladding of the new dwellings against the neutral palette of the existing offer a contrast finish and materiality, a deliberate design intent to lend prominence between old and new.

170-180 Brisbane Street, an exciting inner-city development consisting of two refurbished character homes and eight new townhouses. ​​​​​​​​

Fratelle were engaged by RWM Property to provide architectural design services for the development of the Rosehill Lodge Hospitality and Accommodation Precinct. The scope of work included master planning, design and development of a new Multi-Use Hospitality Venue, including provision for a Restaurant, a Function Room, Gallery, Café, and boutique short-stay accommodation, as well as external spaces opening onto new play areas, a rolling grassed amphitheatre and existing formal Gardens. The design provided a unique and contemporary aesthetic for the additions that at the same time respects the building fabric of the existing lodge.​​​​​​​​

The holiday units in our Dunsborough proposal are designed to have minimal impact on the natural environment. Fratelle and Bluerock Projects achieved this by raising the built form on stumps and reducing the need for retaining across the site. Sustainability initiatives including solar panels, solar orientation, rainwater retention, electric car chargers, and cross ventilation have been incorporated throughout the site. ​​​​​​​​

Fratelle worked with Bluerock Projects on achieving development approval for the 51 holiday units located in the midst of the stunning Dunsborough landscape.
