So… 3 years ago a customer sent me a photo of their water outage map (had to reschedule the job) and it made me laugh because the shape resembled something…

So now whenever there’s a water outage at a customers house I like to check the map…. I don’t know if it’s the guys that draw the water outage maps having a laugh but they always seem to have a similar “shape” to them 🤣🤣

No, it’s quite the opposite…

Rentals have routine inspections and end of lease cleaning so they never really get to the point a lot of ovens get to etc…

If you own your own home, how regularly do you clean your oven? A lot of the time it falls off the to do list, which is ok! I absolutely refuse to clean my own oven until I absolutely have to!🤣

Hi everyone

I’ve made the decision to no longer clean gas ovens and stick to just electric ovens….

I only maybe come across 1 gas oven a month or so, so this won’t affect 99% of you lovely people!

Gas ovens take considerably longer to clean and of the 10 heaviest soiled ovens I’ve seen, 9 of them have been gas ovens…

Most gas ovens never come up as well as their electric counterparts either, especially things like the racks which sometimes have considerable damage where the flames sometimes make direct contact. That along with the age of most gas ovens I see, means it never makes for an ideal clean…

Gas stovetops are fine, just gas ovens!

Rangehoods need some love too!

If your rangehood filters are thick with grease and grime it’s likely it won’t be as effective as it should be… it could also put extra pressure on the motor as it has to work harder for longer to rid your kitchen of cooking smells/smoke etc….

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! Do NOT get sucked into buying “miracle” cleaning products you see online…

Literally just saw an ad for a “magic” cleaning powder you dilute with hot water which cleans anything and everything… for $25 a tub on sale down from $120) 🤦‍♂️🤣

I did some digging and it’s literally just washing soda….. the same washing soda you can get for $5 a kg at Woolies and Coles…

It’s nothing fancy, I’ve recommended it many times before and will keep recommending it!!

If you’re booking someone to come clean your oven, please make sure they’re doing things such as removing the door etc…

It’s hard to imagine an oven can be professionally cleaned without removing the door…

Even more so since most doors need to be removed for cleaning inbetween the glass…. Something else which should come as standard (if it requires it)

Hi everyone!

An oven clean includes ALL the original racks and trays that come with the oven, they need to be available at the start when I begin cleaning

However… If you appear with another heavily soiled tray from the oven which was stored in your shed for some reason as I’m packing away at the end of the clean I will decline to clean that….

Please make them available when I start at the beginning of a clean 😬🫣

When you message to book in I will offer you some times/dates….

If you and I agree a time and date but you don’t provide your address when requested then I will not book you in.

You certainly don’t have the right to threaten me with a bad review because you finally message me back with your address 30 minutes before the initial appointment time we discussed and I no longer have that space available…

I ask for address beforehand not just so I can put it in my diary and plan my day etc… but also because I do now send an invoice for jobs cancelled that give less than 24 hours notice.

Only once you provide me with address is that appointment time will confirmed.
