Congratulations to Mel, Adrienne and Ian from ANA and Peter from Bunbury Rowing Club, who brought home a gold medal from last weekend’s Albany Regatta. A big thank you to Albany Rowing Club Western Australia for once again hosting a great regatta!
Everyone got a bit excited when they heard there was a chance to row an octo! Here is one of the crews that got to go out in it this morning, and also had the opportunity to be in a boat with people they don’t normally row with. Here’s a belated shout-out to everyone who raced in last Saturday’s age-based regatta! With perfect weather and water, ANA came 4th overall - we’re not normally that high on the ladder! Our Juniors batted way above their experience grade, particularly the girls who are all newbies and racing against more experienced school rowers. Congratulations all!
