Great effort to this quad that hit the 10km Woodbridge Dash as part of the Avon Descent course this morning. A first for the crew, ANA and the Avon event!

Awesome racing on Saturday at the Perth to Fremantle (16km) event by our ANA squad, fielding 9 single scullers (5 male, 4 female), 2 x female 8s, 1 x male 8 and a composite 8!
Special mention… 🏆Hilary with Line Honours for the event!
Hilary and James both winning their divisions in the single scull. Congratulations to everyone that rowed, supported and even last minute filled in!

Last Sunday, over 270 rowers braved the wintery weather for the 6km Guildford to Garratt head race. Our catering team kept the soggy rowers and spectators supplied with some amazing food. Thanks everyone for making the 2024 Guildford to Garratt another success!

This is exciting - next Sunday is the first time rowers and paddlers will go head to head in the Guildford to Garratt. If you aren't rowing, make sure you come down to watch!

The junior racing season kicked off on Sunday with the All Schools Regatta 1. As well as our Junior Racing Squad members, we had 9 of our Junior Development Squad racing for the first time with ANA. Some only learnt to row earlier this year!

Congrats to Gemma and Banjo who won their singles events, and to Banjo and Benji who won their double.

Many thanks to coaches Graham, Alysia and new coach Liam, and to those who donated ANA racing gear for our Juniors.

It's an exciting day ahead for the ANA Juniors Squad! The All Schools Regatta 1 is on tomorrow, Sunday, and we have 17(!) Juniors competing.

After Junior Development Squad members loved racing in the Learn-to-Row Regatta, many of them were keen to have a go at racing this weekend. 9 Junior Development Squad members will be racing for the first time tomorrow, with some having just learnt to row in the April school holidays.

Lara Glendinning, Schools Development Officer Rowing WA, visited ANA and spoke to the new Juniors last weekend. She showed a video of Champion Lakes, the facilities and talked about how racing there works. It was obviously a success as they’re all keen to race now. All the best for tomorrow!

The ANA contingent has arrived at Lake Barrington in Tasmania and immediately attracted the attention of a curious local. Racing starts tomorrow with 199 events over four days and more than 800 athletes competing. Good luck, guys and girls! 🖤🤍

Our Masters Mixed Eights took first and second place at Saturdays Masters 3 Regatta at Champion Lakes. 👏🎉

ANA competitors had a great day of racing and topped the medal tally at Saturday's Masters 2 Regatta at Canning Bridge with 8 gold medals. Here are just a few photos from the day. 🎉👏🥇

Despite challenging conditions, ANA got a great medal haul at the Murdoch Mini Regatta last weekend. Luke and Adri won the mixed double, Emma and Adri won the women’s double and were in the winning women’s quad. And it was Emma and Luke’s first time racing as well. Well done team!
