Wideband O2's; do I need one?
Installing a WBO2 to your aftermarket ECU allows it to control the fuel injection in a "closed loop" mode. This means that the ECU will look up a target air fuel ratio (AFR) then correct the mixture accordingly, thanks to the feedback from the Wideband O2 sensor.
WBO2's can also be used in engine protection strategies and will generally enhance the fuel economy of your engine.
