We are excited to announce the launch of our TAG Sports video, showcasing the powerful and impactful Sports Program we have developed across our OSHC services (and soon to be Early Learning Services).

TAG Sports is a unique sports program exclusively crafted by The Atlantis Group. It has been developed using the principles from SportAUS and the Physical Literacy Framework.

TAG Sports is committed to fostering a positive relationship with physical activity, building skills, confidence and resilience in our children to encourage movement for life.

With a focus on popular and fundamental sports, our Sport Programs utilise movement and physical activities to develop core competencies during a child’s formative years. By doing so, it equips them with crucial life skills such as problem-solving, communication and emotional regulation that are essential for both school and adulthood. Our sport programs have been specifically tailored for children up to the age of 12 with sports rotating every three weeks, allowing children the opportunity to develop and refine their skills across a range of sports.

TAG Sports has already proven to be a big success since being integrated into our weekly programs across our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services this year and we are looking forward to rolling the program out to our Early Learning Centres soon.

Atlantis Outside School Care Alkimos

🎾 Over the past few weeks in our TAG Sports sessions, the children have been diving into the world of tennis! They've been mastering the art of hitting the ball with racquets, whether playing solo or in pairs. Along the way, they've developed crucial skills like cooperation, teamwork, confidence, and a solid understanding of the game. A big thank you to Coach Niel for making fitness so much fun and engaging for everyone! 🌟👏

We are thrilled to be announcing the next phase of our TAG Sports rollout. 🥇🙌

After successfully launching TAG Sports at pilot locations, TAG Sports will be available within Term 3 at our Atlantis OSHC Yanchep Beach, Tall Tree OSHC Manning and Tall Tree OSHC Rosalie services! 🎉

We have been receiving incredible feedback from the children at out pilot services:
“It’s fantastic and I really enjoy it, I’m laughing lots.”
“I want to do it more.”
“I like skipping and tennis.”

We are excited to expand TAG Sports into more of our OSHC locations and assist children in our care to embark on this journey of active living. We look forward to witnessing the growth and development of our children through this initiative. 💪🏃🏃🏻‍♀️

Atlantis Outside School Care Alkimos

This week, our TAG Sports Coach Niel has been inspiring us with the joy of skipping! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ It's been amazing to see the children participating enthusiastically both individually and in small groups. Skipping isn't just fun; it's fantastic for fitness too!

For the next two weeks, we'll continue our skipping adventures during our TAG sports sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Best of all, these sessions are completely free for all children enrolled on those afternoons.

Atlantis Outside School Care Alkimos

Over the past three weeks, our TAG Sports lessons have been hitting it out of the park with Softball! 🥎 Coach Niel has been guiding us through the ins and outs of the game, from mastering glove catches to rounding the bases like pros. And let's not forget the thrill of hitting that ball just right! 🏃‍♂️⚾️

But it's not all about serious skills practice – we've been having a blast with games like 'Golden Child' that keep the fun going strong. It's been an awesome journey of learning and playing together.

🏃‍♂️💨 It's been all about balance and movement at TAG Sports over the past few weeks! Our children have been honing their skills with wall squats, planking, navigating balance beams, and even tackling the beep test head-on. It's amazing to see their progress and determination as they push their limits and build strength both physically and mentally. Here's to more active adventures ahead! 💪🌟

TAG Sports Peter Moyes - Softball is in session!
The children have loved learning new skills in our TAG Softball lessons.

Over the past 3 weeks at Atlantis Alkimos, our incredible sports coach Niel has been guiding us through an amazing journey of netball skills! From perfecting our pivots to sharpening our goal shooting techniques and honing our ball skills, every session has been packed with fun and learning. Huge thanks to Niel for his dedication and expertise in helping us become better players! Can't wait to see what new skills we'll master next! 🌟 🏆

At Atlantis Kinross we have been running Softball!! 🥎⚾️ The children have really enjoyed learning some new skills.
We have been working on movement, hand eye coordination and confidence. 🤩

Last week at Butler Atlantis, we had the most amazing time practising our coordinator through doing fun fitness challenges, we really enjoyed being able to use the punching bag to show off our awesome moves.

Over the last few weeks Butler Atlantis have been having the best time doing Fun fitness during Tag sports, the children are working on co-ordination and core strength while learning lots of new challenges

Musical Cones- Peter Moyes TAG Sports.
A great way to keep our kids active in a fun game of musical cones. They run around the cones along to the music and compete against their friends in reaching their spots.

Over the last few weeks the children from Atlantis Butler have been enjoying learning all about Tennis through our TAG sports program.

They have been practising fundamental movement skills as well as coordination, hand strength and ball tracking and catching.

TAG sports has been such an amazing part of our week and has introduced new sports in such a fun and amazing way to all our children.

🏉🎽 It's been a busy couple of weeks launching our TAG Sports program with AFL at Atlantis OSHC Peter Moyes and Athletics at Atlantis OSHC Butler! It's been so much fun and we're thrilled to share the highlights with you! 🌈

🤸‍♂️ Our young athletes dived into action-packed afternoons filled with ball drills, obstacle courses, mini marathons and thrilling relays. These activities not only honed their fundamental skills but also fostered an environment of fun, resilience, and teamwork! 🙌💪

👏 The feedback from the children and families has been nothing short of amazing! It warms our hearts to see so many smiling faces, and we're overjoyed that the children are not only learning but having a blast doing it! 🤩👧👦

🏆 As we continue to witness the growth and development in these young stars, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who has booked their child into our TAG Sports program at our Atlantis After School Care services. Here's to many more moments of joy, movement and achievement together! 🚀🌟
