On this Remembrance Day, let us pause, reflect and remember all those brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for this country and our freedom.
With a growing population domestically and globally, and a worldwide push for more plant-based sources of food, it is estimated food production will need to double by 2050.
Australian Sulphate of Potash company, Kalium Lakes, have found shallow brine deposits in the Pilbara in Western Australia. And it’s not just helping Aussie farmers to grow better greens, the project itself is green too.

North Queensland miner EQ Resources is making sure every last bit of Tungsten on their mine in Mt Carbine does not go to waste. Quite literally.
It's another way the mining industry is being than ever.

Did you know a single solar panel contains a variety of materials and components including Aluminium, Copper, Glass, Plastics, Silver, Lead and Silicon?
With so many solar panels in circulation and so many materials going to waste, Reclaim PV, a pioneering Australian company in South Australia, leapt at the chance to do something.
Watch the video to see exactly how they are reducing waste and ensuring end-of-life solar panels and solar cells get a second chance.

Talison produces lithium concentrate. In fact, they’re world leaders in lithium minerals. Right next door to the lithium mine is something less obvious, but which represents an equally important effort. In 2014 Talison partnered with the Blackwood Basin Group and other local groups to create a wetland haven for bird species from their old Tin mine Learn more at moreresourceful.com.au

Right now we’re at the birth of a major industry devoted to recycling solar panels, we can recycle 100% of them and recover the component materials for reuse. We’re creating an entire circular economy, where minerals mined in Australia are given a second life. Renewable materials that create renewable energy - now that's more resourceful 🌏🔌💡

Today marks the start of NAIDOC week, and the theme for this year is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! As an industry we need to move beyond just acknowledgement, good intentions, empty words and promises, and hollow commitments. Whether it’s seeking proper environmental, cultural and heritage protections, or to support and secure institutional, structural, collaborative, and cooperative reforms — we must do it together 🔴⚫🟡🟢🔵
The demand for renewables is rocketing faster than we can find the minerals for them. Did you know our industry can recycle 100% of solar panels so that the materials can be used again? Now that's more resourceful. To learn more about what else we're doing in this space, head to moreresourceful.com.au. ♻️🔋🌏
Even with the huge rise in solar, we’re only at 5% of our potential. With older panels coming up for replacement, and the demand for renewables outpacing our supply – we’re going to need all the minerals we can get. Aluminium, silicon, copper, glass, all of it. We are being more resourceful than ever by creating an entire circular economy, where minerals mined in Australia are given a second life. Renewable materials that create renewable energy ♻️🌏🌞
Sorry Day was first observed in 1998, since then it has acted as a day to acknowledge the strength of the Stolen Generations Survivors and their families, as well as an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on the healing process for the Australian people and nation. We would like to support this day of reflection by acknowledging all peoples of the land in which we live and work. 🖤💛❤️

Not only is Queensland home to almost the entire periodic table, it’s also home to many fossils of long-lost creatures that lived hundreds of millions of years ago. With so many fossils to choose from the Queensland Government needs help to select the new State fossil emblem! 🦖🦕 Nominate here http://ow.ly/weU450IG2NN
Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values. We're proud to have an industry of people representing countries all over the world!
It’s World Wildlife Day. This year’s theme is “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”. This means drawing attention to the conservation status of some of the most critically endangered species of wild fauna and flora and driving discussions towards imagining and implementing solutions to conserve them. With Australia home to some of the rarest species in the world, we’re proud of all the hard work our industry is doing in this space. From FMG saving the Night Parrot from the brink of extinction to Consolidated Minerals’ AI programme for Northern Quolls; our conservation programmes are more resourceful than ever. And this is one of the parts of our industry that we love the most! Happy World Wildlife Day! 🌏🌱🦜
Today is World Wetlands Day! Our friends at FMG are lucky to have a wetland of national significance right on their doorstep. The Fortescue Marsh, located just south of Fortescue’s Christmas Creek and Cloudbreak Mines, is the largest ephemeral (seasonally inundated) wetland in the Pilbara. It's home to a huge range of native plant and animal species, including a number of migratory bird species - which is why it's so important that we protect and look after these areas. Check out some amazing drone footage of the Marsh after a cyclonic rainfall event 🌏💚🦜🌱

Each year WA farmers use up to 1.9M tonnes of fertiliser. Australian-made Potash will lower the reliance on imported fertiliser and ensure bigger, better quality - and tastier produce. www.moreresourceful.com.au 🥑
We remember all who served and sacrificed in all wars, these sacrifices allow us to live with the freedoms we hold today.
