Recently I shared a post on our socials to say that we had some news 📰
Now that the 🐱is out of the 💼 (via our newsletter) I thought I should give you all a bit of an update.

Running a small business in the current economic climate is now easy feat.
In the last 12 months we’ve encountered some challenging times and this has forced us to take a long hard serious look at our business and make a decision on where to from here! ⛰️🔍⁉️

3 options!! Do we sell? Do we shut up shop? Or do we make some changes and change lanes so to speak! 🗣️

We’re excited to share that we have made the decision that Favor Lane WILL continue and I will continue to manage and direct the business. No new owner but a lot of new initiatives! 🥳🎉

We’ll be introducing a number of new and unique products (available Aus Wide) along with some new services for our Perth based customers. 🛍️ 🛒

More will be revealed in the next week. ⏰

We thank you for your support over the past 12 years. Whether that be by shopping with us, recommending us, servicing us or following and loving our journey so far. 💝

The Party Starts Here 🥳

This little lane I call FAVOR has been such a huge part of my life. 💝
12 years is a LONG time after all right?! My boys were just 3 + 5 when it all began. Back then they looked up to me (literally speaking) and I hope that they still do today even though they’ve taken over me height wise. Why?…because they have always been my why!!

In the last 6 months I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting 💭 There were many reasons for starting this business. Did I see it being what it is today? Truth be told, I didn’t look that far ahead. In the beginning, I just wanted it to survive 3 years as from the research I’d done, that was how long it would take to make a profit 🙌🏻
2 years and 2 months in… my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer 🥲.
Sadly 6 months later I lost my best friend 💔
Yep, I was devastated.
My mum meant the world to me. She taught me to love. She taught me to fight. She was the strongest woman and she loved with her whole heart ❤️. There were days after she passed that I considered closing the doors to FAVOR LANE but I knew that my mum, who was so proud of the business I had created, would not be happy if I quit due to her passing.

So I did what my mum always did, I pushed myself for my kids. I wanted to show them, just like she did, that I was capable, I was strong and most importantly… that if you believe you can, you WILL. 💪🏻

Fast Forward ⏩ to today….. 9 years and 6 months on. There’s been many bumps in the road but I’m here to say, I am so glad I didn’t quit. I have learnt more than I ever imagined possible, have made lasting & valuable friendships, been a part of countless birthdays 🎂 and celebrations 🎉 and proven to myself and my family that if I believe I can, I WILL.
And that’s why I smile 😊

What’s not to love?! People often ask if they should pair colours when it comes to tableware! My answer is NO 🥰 and I think this image is a good example of that.
