Description on the “Night of Stars”:

Riseley Square Barber Shop & Market Street Barber Shop are owned by Jake Shamjhu. Born and raised in Mauritius, Jake moved to Perth in 2012 and bought Riseley Square Barbershop in 2018. Since then, the business has grown from two staff members to twelve and created many opportunities for apprentices and local businesses in the Applecross area.
Specialising in all aspects of barbering including fades, hair designs, scissor cuts, beards and face shaves, Jake believes his purpose is “to make people young and old feel confident through a fun and friendly barber shop experience.” The business has been blessed with positive google reviews and a strong social media following.

Jake Shamjhu, Risley Square Barber Shop was also inducted into Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards ‘Hall of Fame’. His previous awards included the 2021 Young Entrepreneur Award and 2022 Achievement Award.
Now 2023, The Customer Service Award was supported by Storage King, winners of Canstar Blue’s Most Satisfied Customer award for 2021 and offer a huge range of store locations across Australia and New Zealand.

🤝 Interviewed and Trial with the right Employees, I can say, we are moving forward and now owns one of the most Historical Barbershop with over 100+ years of Existence.
