Did you know that tomorrow, Australia will be celebrating Father’s Day? It’s a day dedicated to appreciating and honoring all the amazing dads out there, whether they’re the ones who raised us, the ones who stepped in when we needed them, or the father figures who’ve made a difference in our lives.

In Australia, Father’s Day falls on the first Sunday of September each year 🎈 On this day, families come together to spoil their dads with love, gifts, and maybe even a classic Aussie BBQ. 🍖🔥 It's a time for sharing stories, laughter, and making memories.

For many international students, this might be a new celebration, as Father’s Day is marked on different dates worldwide (or not at all in some places). But don’t worry—whether you're celebrating from afar, missing your dad back home, or just curious about Aussie customs, it's a great opportunity to learn about how we express gratitude to the father figures in our lives.

So, to all the dads, granddads, uncles, and mentors—Happy Father’s Day! And to everyone else, enjoy the weekend and maybe take a moment to appreciate the father figures in your life, no matter where you are in the world.

To improve the safety, security and efficiency of parking and property at the Lodge, we are implementing a new parking pass for anyone who has a vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, e-bicycle or e-scooter. An email with all the new rules and instructions has been sent to every resident this morning.

For everyone's safety, under no circumstances are e-bicycles and e-scooter are to be charged inside the building. We have created a secure storage facility to store those devices.
