Our History
The Record Finder is the oldest established record dealer in Australia, having operated for over 40 years since its inception in 1966. An established importer and exporter the company deals with items from all over the world. The family run business is dedicated to customer satisfaction with friendly staff happy to help in any way. The company's' history in the music business is a benefit to the customer due to the level of knowledge and expertise available.
The Record Finder specialises in all fields of music and stock all record mediums, LP's, 45's, 78's, 12" as well as record equipment, VHS and DVD titles, cartridges and styluses. Records are stocked from all genres and in all categories, new, used, and rare or original pressings. The Record Finder has literally tens of thousands of records in a lovely character shop in Fremantle. Thousands of items are available to browse and purchase from our online catalogue however due to the sheer size of our stock not all items are listed so feel free to visit the store or email us your wants.
