📧 Important Update for TPG Email Users! 📧

TPG Telecom has made a conclusive decision to stop providing email services and outsource them to another Australian email provider, The Messaging Company

What does this mean for you?
1️⃣ TPG will send an advanced notice 42 days prior to the suspension of your TPG email address
2️⃣ If the email address is not moved to The Messaging Company before the advised date in the notice email, your TPG email address will be suspended - from which you will not be able to send or receive emails.
3️⃣ After your email address has been suspended, several consequences will follow, which includes but is not limited to the deletion of your email address from the 30th November 2023.

🔒 Use passphrases

A passphrase is a longer, easy-to-remember sentence-like password that provides better security for your accounts.

When making secure passphrases, consider the following principles:

1️⃣ Create long passphrases - Longer passphrases = stronger security. Try to make your passphrases 4 or more random words, or at least 14 characters in total whenever possible. For example, "Coagulated Sun 8bit Croissant"

2️⃣ Create unpredictable passphrases - Use a random combination of unrelated words to enforce a stronger passphrase. EFF Dice-Generated Passphrases is one of the many methods that you can use to generate random passphrases by rolling dices (fun!)

3️⃣ Create unique passphrases - Do not reuse your passphrases. Pick a sentence or phrase that's personal and meaningful to you. Avoid using common phrases or quotes, and don't include personal information like names or dates.

Remember, your passphrase is your secret sauce to account safety! Keep it personal, keep it unique, and most importantly, keep it safe. 🛡️💪
