Melville’s carpool fleet goes electric
We are very excited to introduce four new electric vehicles (EVs) to our carpool fleet.
The EVs replace hybrid vehicles and use renewable energy from on-site solar generation at the Civic Centre and Operations Centre, producing zero operational emissions. 🌞🚗
🌳 The transition will allow us to reduce CO2-e emissions by 8.1 tonnes annually, in line with our target of becoming a carbon neutral organisation by 2030.
