If you’re at higher risk of severe illness, influenza (flu) can make you really sick.
This year we are offering a FREE flu vaccine to:
• children aged 6 months to under 5 years of age
• people with serious health conditions (including severe asthma, diabetes, cancer, immune disorders, obesity, kidney, heart, lung or liver disease)
• pregnant women
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
• people aged 65 years and over
Ask your doctor, pharmacist or Aboriginal Medical Service about a FREE flu vaccine.
If you’re not eligible for a free flu vaccine, you can get a flu shot from your doctor, or a pharmacy (if you’re aged 5 years and over).

The best way you can prepare for winter, and help protect yourself and the community against serious illness, is to get vaccinated against flu and COVID-19 today.
Flu and COVID-19 vaccines can be given at the same time making it easy and convenient.
Everyone from six months and older is recommended to get a flu shot. Priority groups who can get a free* flu vaccine include:
