These are the latest granny squares for my crochet book blanket. Still the same pattern hooked on grannies, and the same yarn by stitchcraft and wizardry. These colours are a bit brighter than my usual colour palette, but they do match the book perfectly, which was also a very good read.💝

A few months ago we had a girls drip to Dunsborough and made a special trip to the in Busstleton. I had a hard time picking some yarn for my dragon bag by but the ladies were so helpful. I did come away with lots of other goodies but will post as they are made. I had fun making this bag, it was challenging doing the crocodile stitch but great when I got the hang of it. Sorry fellow train travellers as my elbows stick out 😂🐉 I think I need to learn to sew so I can line the bag. The girls in the show were so helpful (pics stolen from their site as I was too busy shopping to take some). Defiantly worth a visit if your in the area 🥰

January’s cozy mystery yarn book club has arrived 😍 oh these colours 🫣😍 they are just stunning. The stitch markers look like little earrings 😍 super excited about this one, even though I do say that every month!!!

I finished this a few months ago but have just taken my time to figure out how to take the photo to capture the different stitches. I could not work that out so just took some random pictures. It is soo heavy 😂 what a fabulous pattern by the pattern is EDS

I forgot to post December’s cozy mystery book club. I used to lover murder she wrote on the tv but I have never read a book. I am starting this one tonight 🥰 I will be deciding in January what I will be making with the yarn I’ve collected from the book club, I am thinking a reading blanket if some sort. Thank you

I can post this now it has been gifted. I was told the nursery theme was jungle and couldn’t resit the cheeky monkey appliqué by Nellas cottage.

I’ve been enjoying the murder mystery box sets from that I treat myself to the Christmas box. What a delight, I have to say the book was pretty dark but the beautiful yarn was a perfect match, along with all the little goodies.

Christmas dance gifts have been given. I started off making fudge and 3 attempts later about 9 hours of work I gave up and crochet these on the train backwards and forwards to work. I do love handmade gifts 🎁

Check out the young lady supermodel 😂 Poppy has taken a like the the crochet gnome I made for my office. The pattern is a free pattern by Passionate Crafter. It’s the first time I have crochet with beads and won’t be the last 😍

It’s taken me a while to photograph this months murder mystery box as there was so much stuff in there 😍 2 new books 📚 beautiful yarn 🧶 and some knitting things 😂 and lovely badge and as always the tea and chocolate. I still haven’t decided what I am crocheting with all this beautiful yarn

And the final cards of the day were the pinks and purples in the paper pumpkin kit. 💜🩷

The next few cards I made were quite dark being mainly Forest green, so brighten them up a bit. Was just quick maked so didn’t go overboard on the details, was good to be crafting again

I decided to use up an old paper pumpkin kit today. The kit was expression in colour by Stampin’ Up! As always when I do kits I get bored so I just raided my supplies to make them all as different as possible.

I have been subscribing to the mystery boxes for three months with some friends and it was so much fun we signed for another three months 😍 this months mystery box was just beautiful. I really can’t decide what I will make but look forward the tea, chocolate and reading ☕️ 🍫 📖🧶
