We are a community brass band located in Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Hastings River Brass are excited that we now have our new uniforms.
The purchase of uniforms and our A frame sign is supported by the NSW government through Create NSW
While some of our junior players could not help with the actual Barbecue, it was great they could come along and provide some entertainment (assisted by Derek and Oli)

Thank you to all the volunteers from the band that helped make the Bunnings Barbecue a huge success today despite being rained out early. Special thanks goes to Glen Stanley who did a lot of the organising for the Barbecue.

Congratulations to two of our junior players that competed at the Hunter Regional Band Championships yesterday in Newcastle. Harry placed 1st in U13s Cornets/trumpets and Evan placed 2nd in U10s any instrument and U10s slow melody. They then teamed up and placed 1st in the U13s duet. Well done!!!

Just wanted to say a huge Thank you to everyone that donated their time on Mother's day (and prior with the organising ) to help the band at the Bunnings BBQ. It was a great team effort!
Hastings River Brass will be hosting the Bunnings BBQ tomorrow (Sunday), so come and grab a sausage! Thank you to everyone that will be volunteering their time.

For the next 4 weeks rehearsal will be at the Port Macquarie Lions club hall on Hastings River Drive at 4:30pm.
Remember marching rehearsal today. Meet at the netball courts on Grant St. Please wear shoes that you'll wear on the march and bring your lyre.

Hastings River Brass will be playing at the Bunnings Christmas family fun night tonight between 6-8pm. It would be great if all members playing can arrive by 5:45pm at the latest.
The band will be doing another small group performance tomorrow for Bunnings Black Friday Event (on Saturday). 11am-1pm.
