But the soul of Saltwater Place is thanks to the amazing artists who have contributed to the stunning aesthetics.
Today we give appreciation to the very talented and highly acclaimed artist Myffie Coady who has provided a number of her gorgeous pieces.
"I'm a self-taught artist who has always been passionate about art. I first started drawing as a young girl when my grandmother suggested I draw some of the flowers in her beautiful garden. I have always loved flowers and animals - in fact anything to do with Nature inspires me! Growing up in the bush I find Nature to be my happy place and find.
Raising my family and work commitments meant little time for my art, but 7 years ago I returned to painting full time. I now paint in my studio 6 days a week! I paint with acrylic paints, and I also love working with charcoal.
I've held eight very successful solo art exhibitions and several group exhibitions and have sold over 200 artworks.
I've also been lucky to have been awarded sixteen art prizes, including two Grand Champion Art Prizes in 2018, all listed below.
My art has been exhibited at the Old Lodge Gallery in Gladstone NSW, Sunset Gallery in Port Macquarie, Masterpiece Framing and Gallery Port Macquarie, Matilda St Gallery Macksville, Nambucca Heads Community Gallery, Sawtell Gallery, Nexus Gallery Bellingen, Macksville Garden Gala Solo Exhibition and Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery and Long Point Vineyard and Gallery Port Macquarie".
