IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ā SALTWATER FRESHWATER FESTIVAL 2024
It is with very heavy hearts and much disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of this Saturdays Festival at Smithtown on Dunghutti Country.
Please know that this decision has not been made lightly as so much work has happened to bring us to this point and this includes the incredible support from our sponsors, performers and cultural practitioners, the 50 plus stallholders, our incredible volunteers, the hardworking site and production crew, community and all of you who have been sharing, liking, tagging and planning to come and spend the day with us.
The weather forecast shows potentially heavy rain starting on Friday evening and continuing through the day on Saturday, this amount of rain will make it difficult if not impossible to bump in our stallholders and performers but also will make for a pretty soggy wet day on Saturday.
We will come back soon with more news and thank you for your understanding and continued support.
