The family loved our food.
Sadly the husband passed away yesterday.

I had the privilege of hearing a heartwarming story from one of our customers. He ordered boiled pork and chive dumplings and was immediately reminded of his friend Liang's homemade dumplings in China. Intrigued, I asked him to tell me more.

The man shared that he and Liang had become close friends while studying abroad in China. During that time, he had experienced a traumatic car accident that left him hospitalized and unable to work. Liang, despite not being wealthy himself, would visit him often and bring him homemade dumplings and other comfort foods.

As the man recounted the story, he grew emotional, explaining that Liang's kindness and care had been a lifeline during one of the toughest times of his life. Liang had been a mentor, confidant, and friend who had helped him get through the difficult recovery process.

Sadly, Liang had been diagnosed with cancer a few years ago

As the man finished his meal and wiped away tears, he thanked us for bringing back the taste and memories of his dear friend. We were moved by his story and felt honored that our food could evoke such powerful emotions.

We were reminded that food is more than just sustenance; it can be a powerful expression of love, friendship, and care. And we knew that every dumpling we made had the power to connect people and evoke cherished memories, just like the ones this man had shared with us. We made a promise to ourselves to continue serving the best dumplings we could, not just for the taste, but also for the memories and emotions they could bring back for our customers.
