bimco's own Rachel delivering a lecture on "Revit and BIM Objects Libraries" for the subject Building Information Modelling for the Architecture and Construction Management Programs at University of Melbourne - . In addition to BIM objects, other discussions included technical components, standards and the importance of collaboration.

Yesterday was the first MelBIM event of 2023 and what a fantastic suite of presentations. Not to mention the amazing turnout of people - familiar and new faces!
Friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable pretty much sums up Daryl. Known as the go-to guy in Revit when working within Architectural practices, heās earned a reputation for being thorough, seeing things through and delivering on his promises.
Daryl has a wealth of experience getting his boots dirty as a BIM/ Project Coordinator and Architectural Technician across commercial retail, stadiums, health and residential sectors and is a great resource for bimco clients to seek practical BIM advice from.

2022 has been bimco' s busiest year yet!

Meet our newest addition to the bimco team, Melanie who comes on board as a BIM Content Developer.
Her passion lies in creating spaces and environments to narrate experiences and engagement with an initiative for a sustainable future. She is enjoying using her keen eye for detail while learning new and more complex modelling skills.
In other news, she has just graduated this week from University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Design with a specialization in BIM!

We are proud to announce the addition of Aida Berdin to the bimco team!
With a refined working knowledge of joinery design, modelling and detailing, Aida is rare find in the world of BIM. Her experience in interior documentation interwoven with BIM is valued by our clients practicing in the Interior Architecture space.
Recognising the importance collaboration plays between clients, colleagues, and consultants, she is willing to extend support to achieve desired outcomes for BIM project deliverables.

Recently bimco turned 5! To celebrate and thank our clients and staff, we threw a celebratory dinner and drinks at Red Spice Road. Part of the event included a detailed story of how bimco has evolved over the last 5 years from a tiny startup in the suburbs to a slightly larger startup punching well above our weight with 11 staff, 50 clients and over 700 users.
We've only got our amazing staff and clients to thank for the success of our business. It is through their hard work, referrals and kind words about our services that has enabled this growth. Once again, thank you for believing in our vision and sticking with us!
Recently the global initiative Women in BIM celebrated their 10th Anniversary held at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne.

With a procedural, structured and organised personality, superstar PA Sarah assists the bimco team to deliver on our promises and make sure the details of tasks are captured and actioned effectively.
Whilst assisting the team to deliver excellent customer support, Sarah also inducts new clients, monitors support enquiries and maintains training materials and standards databases
Sarah is equipped with an MBA, Graduate Certificate in Business (Executive Administration), a Diploma of Project Management and a Diploma of Public Relations and actively seeks continuous learning to add to her repertoire of skills.
We are so excited to have you on our team!

Being process driven and diligent by nature, BIM was always a good fit for Naomi. She seeks to automate rather than manually perform tasks and continuously looks for efficiencies in processes. She has a passion for BIM and believes that it has a core role in the success of projects in the construction industry.
Naomi assists bimcoās clients in the delivery of construction projects via supporting, training and advising them in methods of modelling and handling data strategically and efficiently.
To further her BIM skills, Naomi is currently studying a Masters of BIM Management to compliment her background in architecture and documentation.

Nickās journey into BIM has been built upon an understanding of documentation principles both in study and in practice. His approach to BIM processes is underscored by a practical understanding of building design making him an effective BIM Coordinator for designers alike.
His documentation experience includes an array of projects across multiple sectors including residential, education, public housing, aged care and conservation works.
With a dedication to growing and developing skills, Nick also teaches Revit at RMIT to students undertaking the Advanced Diploma of Building Design course.
Although bimco has been quiet on the socials, we have been indeed busy.Ā Over the next few days we will be making announcements about new additions to the team.Ā First up we introduce you to Tom:
Through dedication to the profession, Tom has positioned himself as a lead Content Developer within Australia and brings practical, tested wisdom to the BIM Content strategy at bimco.
He has experience working as a National Content Coordinator within large Architectural practice and an applied understanding of strategies for developing and implementing some of the industry's best content + support in BIM systems.
Tom has been awarded the most outstanding graduand within Architectural Computing and has obtained a Graduate Diploma in Education making him skilled in both the understanding and teaching of BIM concepts to bimco clients.
