ENHANCE IMMUNITY
SUGAR SCRUB

Ingredients:
2 C brown or organic sugar
1 C fractionated coconut oil
15 drops black spruce
6 drops tea tree
5 drops eucalyptus
5 drops lemon

Directions: Mix and store in glass container. Scrub extremities gently and rinse. For added benefits, soak in bath after scrubbing.

This sugar scrub not only exfoliates but also uplifts your senses and fortifies your immunity. It's like a spa day, but with the added goodness of essential oils.

These are great support oils for people who just don’t look forward to events and find it difficult to speak up at social occasions.

Passion and Motivate - blends that inspire, encourage, and boost positive emotions. Apply to the back of the neck and pulse points before heading out to give you a boost of confidence to engage with others.

Copaiba and Peace -grounding and calming oils, will assist in apprehension and dread on having to socialise. Great help for feeling soothed and relaxed. Use copaiba under the tongue for all over relaxation, and apply peace over the heart.

Spearmint and Lavender - oils that can help you speak your mind and express your thoughts more clearly. Diffuse before a social gathering, or put a drop in a glass of water when you are out to help you overcome your difficulty with speaking.

Great advice from a friends page.

So many of us struggling today with stress, overload, overwork, overstimulation, lack of sleep, and our mental health is really being tested.

These are some of the oils I use when I am struggling.

• Lavender Peace to calm anxious thoughts and assist sleep
• Balance on wrists and over heart to help feel calm and grounded
• One drop frankincense under tongue for mental clarity and focus
• One drop Copaiba under tongue to calm tue nervous system and help feel soothed
• One Adaptiv capsule on days feeling dread and total overwhelm
• Copaiba softgels as needed throughout the day to help manage stress and support calm feelings.

22 Things to Research in 2022

1. Antibiotics are made primarily of MOLD and can contribute to long-term health issues. Don't overuse. Save for when absolutely necessary.

2. Synthetic fragrances can disrupt your hormone balance. Perfumes, body sprays, and air fresheners are not helpful to lung health.

3. Supplementation is important. Junk synthetics are dangerous.

4. GMOs aren’t healthy for humans or the environment

5. The optimal diet is the one that makes YOU feel the strongest; figure out what that is. There is no one diet that s best for everyone.

6. Raw dairy is superior to pasteurized for so many reasons

7. Having babies at home can be the best option for some women.

8. " Injections " are not one sized fit all.

9. Salad dressings and condiments are often made with GMO soy or cottonseed oils, and DIY options are easy, tastier, and healthier

10. Co-sleeping is safe and beneficial for most moms and babies, and reduces sleep deprivation and increases breastfeeding rates. Bodies heal when sleeping.

11. Many ear infections are viral, and/or will clear up without antibiotics (and many natural remedies work)

12. Children need more time outside. Homeschooling is a good option for freedom seekers.

13. Magnesium matters to 300 body functions, especially sleep, detox, hormone balance, and blood sugar regulation, and you probably don’t get enough

14. Vitamin D is still controversial , but you definitely need sun

15. Herbs, oils, and natural remedies aren’t “messing around,” and there is plenty of research and history to support their use, even for big needs

16. Full-term breastfeeding is beneficial for mom AND baby and not at all “weird” .

17. Your lymphatic system plays a huge role in your health and detox, and needs your active support

18. Allopathy may be the dominant medical system right now, but tread lightly and use when necessity. Being pro active is always best.

19. Cough suppressants (and really any symptom suppressants) stop your body from healing itself, and can lead to more severe or prolonged illness

20. A fever is God's way of treating illness and boosting immunity.

21. Ibuprofen doesn't take away pain. It masks it and makes it hard to determine root cause.

We are smack bang in the middle of winter and I am sure there are some coughs going around so I wanted to share this Cough Roller recipe to help support you.

Add drops of essential oils to a 10ml roller bottle and top with carrier oil of your choice.

Apply to chest, neck, in palms and inhale.

I’m sick of my family and I running out of the back door, flapping our hands like crazy people and jumping into the car to avoid all the creepy mozzies living there after the rain.

There are hundreds and I mean hundreds if not thousands, in the damp corner there 😱. But this quick tip is a life saver!!

So get your Lemon Eucalyptus or Citronella oil out. I find these are the most effective. Though you can also use TerraArmour, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Lemon Myrtle or Litsea too.

First thing in the morning: Swipe one drop of oil on the fly screen door. And put a drop or two on your front or back door welcome mat. Simple as that.

By the time we’re all ready to go, the mozzies are gone! I find that putting a drop of oil on the mat will last the whole day. And I don’t need to worry if anyone is taking their time to close the door. They don’t come into the house or car! 👍🏻🤗

You can also dilute these oils and rub on your body for more repelling! See my other repel bugs post.

Good old Aroma massage 😊

Most people know that a massage can be relaxing and improve mood. However, an aromatic massage--one that includes essential oils and carrier oils--can profoundly influence the body, including nervous system function.

A clinical study found that a massage with lemongrass essential oil diluted in sweet almond oil harmonized the function of the nervous system and reduced diastolic blood pressure, which could improve emotional and stress states. Three groups were included in the study: lemongrass/sweet almond oil massage, sweet almond oil only massage, and massage without any oils. A 60-minute massage was performed once weekly for three weeks, which included the feet, legs, knee, abdomen, neck, face, and head.

3 years ago I stayed at a resort called Serenity Island Resort and incase your wondering yes I probably said hows the serenity a thousand times and yes it was hilarious every single time even if no one else was laughing.

Here's the post and probably more pertinent today considering screen time has ramped up dramatically

Our ancestors understood the relation between the sun and health. From the Aztecs to the ancient Egyptians, many past societies revered sungazing as an esoteric practice for high-ranking priests and shamans. Today, it is experiencing a resurgence in popularity and sungazers claim it has its benefits.
Boosts production of melatonin and serotonin. Research shows sungazing stimulates the pineal gland as the direct sunlight hits the eye, moves through retinal-hypothalamic tract, and then hits the brain. This stimulates the pineal gland, also known as the “master gland”. This boosts the secretion of melatonin and serotonin, our "feel-good" hormones.
Increased energy levels. Modern day sungazers say the practice has boosted their vitality. This is probably related to the secretion of the aforementioned hormones.
Increases the actual size of the pineal gland. Not only can this practice boost hormone levels, it has also been shown to increase the size of the pineal gland. Normally, as we age, the pineal gland shrinks. However, brain scans of a long-term practitioner of sungazing show that this 70 year-old man has a gland three times as big as a normal man.
Promotes weight loss. One of the historical theories for sun gazing was that the body and mind could be nourished by the sun, reducing the need for food. Similarly, some modern day sungazers say they have lost excess weight, and some even report a total loss of the desire and need to eat.
From an energetic perspective watching sunrise energizes and activates our bottom three in body chakras and watching sunset for your top in body 3 chakras.
