I’m pleased to announce The Quay Street Jazz will be playing at the Gardens this Sunday from 1 to 3pm.

We will be trading as usual with our all day breakfast or lunch options to 3.30pm. Also serving coffee, homemade cakes/slices and icecream to 5pm.

Anzac Day opening hours: 1.30pm to 4.15pm

Please note that Rockhampton Zoo opens at the later time of 1.30pm on Anzac Day (Thursday 25 April).

The Keeper Talks from 2.00pm onwards will be on as normal.

✅ Access Zoo and Botanic Gardens via Spencer Street ✅

A section of Ann Street will be closed from Monday 18 to Friday 22 March (7am to 3pm each day). This will not affect access to Penlington Street, but will affect access to the Zoo and Botanic Gardens.

These works are to enable installation of bollards at the Botanic Gardens, along the golf course side of Ann Street.

Lost Property !!

The Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Rockhampton Zoo will be open on Australia Day and so will we!!

Update to our Trading Hours.
It is our quiet time of the year and I don't think I need to explain it is a little hot and humid so heads up we will be shutting at 4pm daily until mid March. 🤪😓🫠

We are closed on Tuesday 9th January.

Unfortunately we have been advised we will have no power while Ergon conducts some maintenance activities.

Hence we are unable to operate.
This is just a one day inconvenience and we will be open again on Wednesday.

The Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Rockhampton Zoo will be open as usual.

It has been particularly busy December when we got to be part of many people’s experience wether for dinner before the show or icecream after.

We got to play a small or large part in many a Christmas Party and our salads will be gracing tables tomorrow.
