After 150ml of rain yesterday our Wednesday Bash Social Bowls went ahead today at Victoria Park on a green still running 13 secs.

Another Wednesday and another green full of social bowlers at Victoria Park.

Had the absolute pleasure of hosting Michael and the lads from Access Recreation for a fun morning of barefoot bowls. My thanks to Doc and Tanya for joining in the fun and helping. They will be back!!

After nearly two years the last light of the project of new LED Lights on Green Number 2 has been completed. Well done Stanke Electrics and all those members who helped get this big job DONE!

The Club hosted 2 Crews from Ergon Energy for a Work Rewards Barefoot Bowls Challenge Game. A tremendous afternoon of fun and frivolity. Look forward to a return visit.

Great morning at Victoria Park Bowls Club this morning when the club hosted the Caravan Clubs of Queensland for their Annual Caravan Rally Bowls game.

The Club hosted the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue for a BBQ and a game of barefoot bowls this afternoon. Great organisation to support!

Long time Member Hilary Robinson (Aged 96) dropped into the club this morning to catch up with some of his old mates.

Presentation from QAS to Victoria Park Bowls Club for their work on the 16th December 2023 when John Dallow suffered a heart attack on number 2 green. All in photo were present and all played a part in John surviving. Also in photo are Darren Pirie (QAS) and Joe O'Donnell and Hannah Opton the two first paramedics who were on their morning walk and came in to help.
