Due to ill health and retirement, Carmel and Bernie have decided to close Bernies Pie Shoppe at the close of business Friday 28th July. We would like to thank all our loyal customers over the past 38 years.

Bernie’s Pies currently have a factory position available starting at 6am in the morning Monday to Friday about 30 hours per week. If you are interested please call into the factory to discuss it or call. We are looking to fill the position ASAP.

Bernies Pie Shop has the following positions available:

Delivery Driver- Monday to Friday 6:30am- 9:30am. The position involves loading and delivering goods to a variety of businesses and schools, unpacking and tidying van and some general cleaning after deliveries. The applicant will need to be neat and tidy and have either an open auto or manual licence.

Pie lunch truck person - This position is 3 days per week starting at between 8-8:30 am and finishing between 1:30 and 2:00pm. The position involves selling food at different businesses and job sites. The applicant will need to be near and tidy, have good money handling skills and will need to have an open manual licence. There will be the opportunity for extra days to cover staff leave as well.

Bernies Pie Shoppe is looking for a casual Food/Pie Van Driver to join our team. This position involves driving around businesses and job sites selling food and drinks. Bernies Pies is looking for a delivery driver. The position is approximately 15 hours per week. The position involves loading orders each morning and then delivering to schools and businesses and then coming back to the shop and unloading and then doing some cleaning tasks. Bernies Pies is looking to employ Factory Staff. The positions are 2am starts approx 38 hours per week. The position involves packing orders, assisting the bakers and general cleaning. Bernies Pies is looking for a causal factory assistant. The job will be approximately three days per week including a Saturday morning. Weekday start times are 6 am and 2am on a Saturday.
