"Lately, I've been trying to elevate my designs,my art, by reading, browsing, and skimming books about flowers, designs, sculptures, and colors.
I've been studying, observing, and following floral designers to gain insight, ideas, and inspiration.
•
Today, I created this arrangement that is out of my comfort zone. I have a bunch of Cosmos flowers that I was planning to use for a bouquet. Then inspiration hit me after reading a random fact about the Thread of Fate. It is said that from one point to another of this thread, we are connected to someone, someone who is meant for us.
•
Then curiosity hit me. Why did they name it Cosmos flowers? Cosmos is another term for the universe, its nature, and its origin. So, I decided... I want to create an arrangement that looks like the beginning of life, a flower sprouting from the ground. Something that represents emerging, blooming, growing, and becoming.

Then, after finishing the design, a negative thought squeezed into my mind... "What if people don't like it?" Then a quote popped up on my screen from my motivational app, saying: "Adversity is the universe's gift, guiding you towards the right path."
•
Then it came to me, "We will not be everyone's cup of tea. We live in a world where everyone has the right to say things about you. But never let it defeat you. We will receive more NO's than YES's. But as long as there's a YES, keep moving forward. Share your gift and never be ashamed of it.

Like the Cosmos flower, a gift from the Cosmos. She shared her gift with the world. Now, she represents balance and harmony.

Maria Sinukuan is a mythical figure in Philippine folklore, particularly among the Kapampangans in the Central Luzon region. She is believed to be the guardian deity of Mount Arayat, an extinct volcano in Pampanga province.

According to legend, Maria Sinukuan is a beautiful and powerful 𝐃𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐀 (fairy) who resides in a hidden cave within Mount Arayat. She is often depicted as a benevolent deity, providing protection and blessings to those who pay her respects and offerings. Legend has it that Maria Makiling was once a mortal woman who fell in love with a mortal man. However, their love story ended tragically when her beloved passed away or left her for another woman. Heartbroken, Maria retreated to the mountains, where she became the guardian spirit of Mount Makiling.

In some versions of the legend, Maria Makiling is said to appear to travelers lost in the forest, guiding them to safety and providing them with food and shelter. She is also believed to be responsible for the mountain's fertility, ensuring that the land remains lush and abundant.

Despite her kindness, Maria Makiling is said to be capable of causing mischief or even harm to those who disrespect or harm the mountain and its inhabitants. She is often depicted as a woman of great beauty, with long flowing hair and dressed in white, adorned with flowers and jewels.

I had a flower bouquet order today and it's for a guy. It's his birthday, and I found it interesting and lovely. For a guy to receive flowers is VERY RARE. I think we need normalise the idea of GIVING flowers to GUYS/MEN. Men getting and receiving FLOWERS are perfectly fine and cute.
There's a social study that says most men receive their first flowers at their funeral. And that's sad to hear.
So let's break the stereotype, FLOWERS doesn't make less of a man. Flowers are for everyone, flowers represent love and beauty. Love and beauty is for everyone.
So give your guy friends flowers, your dad, your boyfriend. Peace and have a lovely evening! 🦋

There will be doubts, prostration, over-budget (come on we all been there), overtime work, and paper works but everything is worth it.
Because it helps you to learn things.
Meeting new people, learning things from them. Meeting customers and to build a partnership with them, some became friends. All hardships is worth it.
Indeed it is hard to manage your own small business while working for someone. But damn I'm even more excited for things to come.
