Super proud of one of our AJF team members Fiona who is currently walking the Portuguese Way, which is a Camino from Porto in Portugal to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. It is around 300kms and she’s walking it with her Dad. Fiona will then head over to Ireland to do the Kerry Camino which is 70 kms along the Di**le Peninsula.
On top of this Last year she did the Camino Frances and Camino Finisterre which was around 900 kms!

Alana aced her first 8 week challenge with AJF. She had trained before and had amazing technique with her exercises from the start, so we could work on increasing her strength and challenging her more every week. Alana aimed for weight loss during the 8 weeks and she accomplished it on the scales and in her measurements, in addition to boosting her strength and overall fitness! Well done Alana!👏💪💚

Try these in your next workout!
Face pulls are a great exercise to enhance overall shoulder strength and stability.
➡️ keep an athletic stance, feet shoulder width apart and slight bend in knees. Engage your core to keep your body steady.
➡️ Focus on slow, controlled motions through out the exercise. Engage your shoulders, keeping them rolled back to create good posture.
➡️Don’t forget to squeeze your upper back muscles as you pull the rope close to your face! By emphasising this contraction you’re maximising the benefits 🌟

You might be looking at this photo thinking ‘what are these people doing?’ - and the answer is Deadbugs!
This is a fantastic exercise as it builds core strength and stability, as well as testing out your coordination and helping improve posture.
Tips for Deadbugs:
➡️ Keep them slow and controlled.
➡️ Focus on your breathing, use deep belly breathing using your diaphragm.
➡️ Keep your lower back in contact with the floor. If you find your lower back lifts as you perform the dead bugs switch to a different variation with less Range of motion to begin with.
