We have received confirmation that COVID-19 vaccine booster doses can now be given from 5 months after the second dose of your initial COVID-19 vaccination course. The booster vaccines are currently Moderna or Pfizer vaccines and either of these can be used regardless of the brand of initial COVID-19 vaccination you received. For example, if your received Pfizer as your original course of COVID-19 vaccination, you may choose to receive either Pfizer or Moderna as you booster dose.

We have already commenced booster doses for those people who had the original course 6 months ago and from today are able to provide booster doses for those people who completed their vaccine course at least 5 months ago.

This is the recommended booster regardless of whether you had the Astrazeneca, Moderna or Pfizer in the original 2-dose course. We can also cater for first and second doses of Pfizer or any of the above vaccines as a walk-in.
