As part of my deep cleans I like to add in extra touches like the insides of a kettle. I thought I'd share this trick with you, it's an oldie but a goodie.

Squeeze half a lemon into a full kettle of water, turn the kettle on and then rinse out the water. If there are any residual stains you can use some bi carb and a dish brush to thoroughly get them off and waaa laa... Nice clean kettle 😉🙌🏻

Important update:
Beth's Eco Cleaning is moving away from regular cleans to one off deep cleans, end of lease cleans and ad hoc cleans.

I am now providing cleaning for The Women's Shelter and my availability is therefore not as predictable as it was with regular cleans as I will be prioritising my service to them to ensure steady turnover.

For those already on a regular arrangement no changes will occur other than what has already been discussed and you will most likely have Amanda for your arrangement and myself on occasions.

I'm very excited about the new changes and I appreciate the support my existing customers have been showing during this tricky transition. It is much appreciated 🌿💚

Please welcome the fabulous Amanda to the team. My first successful applicant to take over some of my residential cleans. If you haven't already met her you will very soon I'm sure. She will be kicking off solo next week. I am very lucky and pleased to have her on board 🙌🏻 And yes, she's already on the power tools 🔥👏🏻

So I've taken to the idea of making my own eco washing powder solution as I want to avoid supermarket chemical laden clothes washing liquids. I am always washing the cloths I use to clean homes and it's important they are eco friendly too. So here's the recipe if you want to try it out, it's smelling delicious thanks to the essential oils I used.
Beth's Eco powder 🫧:
3 cups washing soda
3 cups bi carb
1 cup Epsom salts
1/2 a cup salt
Splash of eucalyptus disinfectant and your choice of essential oils. I used a breathe blend and lavender 🪻
I also doubled the ingredients to make a larger batch.

I always try to adapt to cleaning tools and methods that work best, I'm open to change and trying new and better ways to make my clients' homes amazing. Sabco is a brand I have come to trust and I've learnt the old warm soapy water method is sometimes best over the convenient spray mops. I am glad I took the chance on this one 🙌🏻

Happy International Women's Day lovelies! I just wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge the strength and power our beautiful women community adheres to day in and day out. I find some of my women clients feel a sense of guilt or a need to explain why they need a cleaner. As if it needs to be justified to take some time to rest and not 'do it all'.

I think it's important to be able to give yourself some grace, acknowledge all the things you're doing whether that's mothering, working, coping with illnesses, fighting the cost of living it all adds up and you don't need to do it all to be successful. You need to put your life jacket on first to look after your loved ones and hiring a cleaner is just one way of doing that. I'm proud of my lady clients and think you're all so admirable and it's an honour to come and help clean your space each and every time. Peace out my ladies 😘🥂💃🏻💋

A bathroom cleaning kind of day. Some days I clean about 8 bathrooms in a day. They can be epic, messy, but always satisfying. A bathroom can be one of the most complex rooms to clean in the house and the least favourite. I'm here to help with that 😉
