Pretty Kooky

This was a huge undertaking... hands hurt, regret my time away from the rack, need to harden up or stop doing my knots so damn tight. Many, many hours, knots done, undone, redone. It as a fun adventure, I’m just so happy to be creating again.

Sometimes there’s nothing like a baby to inspire creativity. After another dry spell, I’m feeling ready to keep creating and share the journey. It feels damn good 💓

The end of the year is fast approaching and I only have three more available workshops before the new year. This may change depending on demand of course, so if you miss out, reach out and I may add more.

Did you know I still do workshops? Maybe not because I’m pretty bad at this social media thing. But today I did a sold out workshop with these beautiful ladies and it was great. I knew yesterday’s workshop was a success but these reviews were a great confirmation. I can’t express enough how much I love teaching macrame or how lovely every single person I have taught is. I worked out yesterday I have taught 160+ wonderful people how to knot over the past few years, I am so lucky!

Starting to feel broken, this is my third workshop in a row I’ve had to cancel. Each week I’m holding onto hope I can hold a workshop only to cancel it a few days prior. In all honesty I’m surprised it has taken me this long to feel so disheartened, I guess it’s just the unknowing and living in hope. Last year I succumbed to not holding workshops due to such long lockdowns. I loved getting back into doing them again, but now it’s just week by week. Anyhoo that’s my rant, I might just go sit in this corner a rock 😁. I hope you are all doing ok and staying safe.
