🔥🍳 Dive into day 2 of the Chef of the Year competition at Foodservice Australia this Monday! The one-hour heat kicks off at 9:30 am, and the atmosphere will be intense as the doors open to visitors at 10 am!

◎ Dayan Hartill-Law, Executive Chef, Palette Restaurant, QLD
With a career spanning over 20 years and experience in some of the world's best restaurants, Dayan Hartill-Law, executive chef at HOTA on the Gold Coast, is thrilled to return to the Chef of the Year competition. He looks forward to cooking alongside immense talent and utilising top-notch produce and equipment.

◎ Sean Cameron, Head Chef, Elsewhere at SAM, VIC
Chef Sean Cameron leads the culinary team at Elsewhere Cafe in Shepparton with 20 years of expertise. Renowned for his creativity and technical skill, Sean transforms each dish into a thrilling experience, blending his passion for the arts with gastronomic excellence.

◎ Dino Ng, Executive Sous Chef, Rydges South Bank Brisbane, QLD
Dino Ng, Executive Sous Chef at Rydges Southbank, has garnered numerous accolades for his commitment to quality at the two-hatted Restaurant Bacchus. With training in Michelin-starred and fine dining establishments, Dino is passionate about innovation and sustainability in the culinary field. He is eager to showcase his skills at the Chef of the Year competition, aiming to inspire and impress.

◎ Travis Crane, Head Chef, Voyager Estate, WA
At Voyager Estate, Travis creates progressive dishes intimately tied to their place, working first and foremost with what he can find and forage from the Estate. What he can’t grow in their organic Kitchen Gardens, he sources from like-minded local producers who share our deep respect for this land. Menus evolve with key seasonal milestones in the vineyard and each dish is inspired by one of the organically farmed wines, to create flavour pairings that do justice to our magical corner of Margaret River.

It’s probably about time we introduced you to our incredible Head Chef Sean Cameron who has been with us from day one ☝🏼
A culinary virtuoso with nearly two decades of experience under his very talented belt, who has finally let us post about him on our social media (better late than never)

Mentored by industry legends, Sean has mastered fine dining, Asian fusion, and European cuisine taking him all around the world. He has since brought his knowledge to our vibrant community, our Elsewhere home. 🌈

We are incredibly proud to announce Sean will be competing in Australia’s ‘Chef Of The Year’ competition in Sydney later on this month as part of Australia’s top 32 chef’s of 2024. No matter the result, our Chef Sean is already a winner to us ❤
