BASstone is a local stonemason in shepparton looking for people to join our busy team. Looking for guys who are hard working, enjoys a challenge and has an eye for detail!
Drivers license essential and experience with power tools will be a bonus!
You will be out installing new benchtops, and general duties around the shed, including polishing and glueing.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, hardworking, have strong communication and listening skills and be able to work within a team environment.
1-2 weeks trial will be available to make sure you fit in with our business.

BASstone is hiring!!

We are Looking for a laborer or apprentice to join our team. Experience in the stonemasonary field is not essential.
The right candidate will be able to work in a fast paced team environment supervised and motivated to work unsupervised.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, hardworking, dedicated and must be able to understand measurements and plans. The candidate must also have strong communication and listening skills and the ability to use hand held power tools is essential.
Responsibilities & Main duties:
Cut and shape stone tops, as per specification for vanities and kitchens, (Training will be provided).
Smooth, polish and bevel surfaces using hand tools and power tools
The role will consist of General Laborer and tasks will also include Keeping site clean, cleaning up after installation with Factory works Onsite and Offsite.
Must have a Drivers Licence and Fork Lift licence would be preferred but not necessary.
Successful applicant will get a 1/2 week trial to make sure you fit in with our business.

Applying for the Stonemason Apprenticeship, we would be looking for a new school leaver who is wanting to take on a trade. Schooling is done in melbourne around 9 weeks a year for 3 years with the final year to be completed at the workshop.
You will get on the job training and learn the trade as you go as well. As a first year apprentice you role will include heavy lifting, gluing and polishing of edges and the use of power tools.

Looking for a new laborer to join our team!

BASstone in SHEPPARTON is looking for a laborer to join our team for full time work with overtime offered/and needed sometimes when out installing.
Some Saturday’s will be available if workload requires.
Preferably have experience in some form of building trade but not essential.
You will be required to work unsupervised in the workshop polishing and glueing Benchtops (and use of power tools).
You will also be out on sites installing jobs so it does require some heavy lifting.
We are looking for someone who is hard working doesn’t cut corners and has an eye for detail.
You need to be able to work supervised and by yourself and take initiative in what needs to be done.
Must have a Drivers license.
Forklift license a bonus but not essential.
