I have been working on this little (cough cough) gem for a couple of months getting it roadworthy but fingers crossed as of next week this will be the new Jaks tow pig. It’s an 86 Silverado 3500 hiding a Cummins 5.9ltr heart.

Great friend of ours Dean got a nice schoolie out of kilcunda this morning. Fish took a liking to a barrel bullet in pink saurie colour.

Ace Jase broke out an old school “Neo” (at least 10 years old with yellow jiggle eyes) to get this nice schoolie off Phillip island today, he also nailed a few fish on his preferred technique of stick baiting.

Daniel and crew got a very nice fish today from out the front, it pulled the scales down north of 127kg and put up a gritty fight taking 4hrs to subdue on 24kg. The fish ate a big bullet in ORB. Congratulations guys great effort getting the bite with the fish moving a lot. Looks like it has encountered at shark at some stage that may have taxed it a couple of kilos

Jay with a cracking barrel taken from a similar area to the others recently captured, not sure of the weight but looks to be north of 120. Fish was caught on a beautiful Northbank 750 with all the fruit. Fish took an old school Zeus

It lives! After much stuffing around

Fitting the FLIR camera has a bit in it, had to fabricate a mount (thanks to Hary from Razorcraft Boats for hooking me up with the materials) with some thermolite off cuts, moved the radar dome back 50mm and I am half way through running the cables and just need to get some simrad cables from Ch Smith before I can fire it up to stare out into the paddocks at night as I don’t see much fishing in the near future ☹️

Been a while since I punched out one of these bad boys, “Boss” 12 inch keel weighted slant, this is the 1st of 10 heading to an overseas customer to harass African marlin. Couple more weeks and the other 9 should be done

A fish from today, Jiggy jig (AKA Robbie) steven, scorpo and victor snagged a 110kg fish that ate a big zeus in grim colour.

Taha, salim, basher and khaled got two cracking barrels one of them took a Zeus in angry skittle out in the very productive Apollo Bay Area. Great job guys, more familiar faces in the XOS tuna game here in Victoria.

And yet another barrel, this one sent to me by Salim who got the fish around that Apollo Bay region and it took a liking to a big barrel bullet in loomo. This fish is also in the 100kg range. Great work to you and the crew Salim.
