We're looking for a 1st or 2nd year apprentice cabinet maker to join our growing family business, Simply Joinery, based in Sorell. We specialise in high-end timber joinery, kitchens, laundries, robes, and all aspects of joinery.
As part of our team, you'll work with qualified and skilled cabinet makers who will teach you both factory and onsite methods to help you become an experienced and qualified cabinet maker.
As an Apprentice, Your Duties Will Include:
· Manufacturing joinery and cabinetry items
· Using machinery such as CNC, edge banders, and panel saws
· Assisting with on-site installations
To Be Successful, You'll Need:
· A driver’s license
· Your own tools
· Basic knowledge of hand tools
· A high level of attention to detail
· Physical fitness and capability
· Reliability and a strong work ethic
· The ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly

“Located on the roundabout of a suburban arterial road in the heart of Sandy Bay, the extension steps up the slope of the corner site as it opens to the North enabling privacy for the occupants and distance from the noise of the road below.

The extension included the revitalisation of the existing character home (back to its original form) and a substantial rear extension. An existing two-level extension was removed as part of the works to reveal the original dwelling and to enable a better relationship between the internal and external spaces within the new works.”

The last few weeks, I have enjoyed creating this fantastic solid Sapele Mahogany timber conference [board] room table.

An amazing timber to be working with; giving a beautiful mix in the natural colours.

Designed around being able to utilise a central power/data connection box along with ability to access the projector/tv controls from each end. This table measures 3.6m by 1.5m allowing 12 people comfortably working in the one space. Built to complement this Grand board room.

I’ve appreciated the opportunity to build this for our clients.
