Trust and fuel your gut. What you fuel your body with, influences your energy, pain, symptoms and your poo! Look at the left hand column and see if you match any of these symptoms. And then look if you are eating enough of these nutrients. Having a balanced diet, enough fibre is something I highly recommend with athletes, women, dancers and anyone experiencing Pelvic, hip, back pain as well as Endometriosis and period pain.
Thank you for this fantastic initiative!

I've explained how I got into Dance Physiotherapy, as I was a previous dancer and ballet teacher. How I got into Womens Health came naturally. By treating lots of dancers which was a female dominant sport, I saw alot more females. And with these dancers, I treated alot of Pelvic, hip and back issues. As I worked with them and dance/gymnast mums, some of my patients said that that they experience leaking when they land from their jumps or discomfort with insertion of a tampon. I had no idea what to do and how to treat that. Being the curious learner that I am, I did my first Womens Health Physio course and fell in love! As a second generation Korean Australian, my mum never taught me about my periods or S*x - I learnt from my sisters, cousins or girlfriend magazine (loved the sealed section - if you know, you know haha). I didn't even know I had 3 organs inside and here I was treating people about their own bodies when I had no idea what was inside! I believe it is so integral to know and understand your body in order to improve it. So this led me down the rabbit hole of learning and becoming the best Womens Health Physio I can be. I have extensive experience in both the public and private sector and worked as a Senior Womens Health physiotherapist in pre and postnatal, OASI (obstetric a**l sphincter injuries) and urogynaecology Pelvic clinics at GCUH. I also work in the first Endometriosis clinic in Goldcoast. Now I'm lucky to combine my 2 passions together at my clinic, Womens Health and Dancers :)
