We welcome Pixellot as a major sponsor of Money In Sport 2023.

Pixellot - AI-Automated Sports Production aims to revolutionise broadcasting in the Australian football industry, offering cost-effective streaming solutions that provide a range of benefits. Pixellot offers a wide array of solutions to replace costly single camera man-operated productions, including both fixed solutions that cover every game in a venue, and mobile solutions, that can be moved between venues.

Through the introduction of AI-based automated sports production, Pixellot enables leagues, federations, and clubs to greatly expand their coverage while allowing them to tap into a wealth of commercial opportunities.

In addition to opening avenues for revenue generation, Pixellot’s cost-effectiveness approach also facilitates talent identification processes. Coaches and scouts can cast a wider net by utilizing the compiled footage from games, ensuring that no talent goes unnoticed. Pixellot recognises the challenges faced by coaches and scouts in attending every game, particularly in a geographically vast country like Australia. By compiling and providing footage from games, Pixellot enables coaches to widen their reach and identify talent more effectively.

Pixellot's solutions also drive cost efficiency by streamlining operations and centralising broadcasting rights. With a unified streaming platform, clubs and leagues can maximize their resources and investments. This approach allows for comprehensive coverage, from grassroots to professional levels, providing marketing opportunities for all teams involved.

We welcome Nick Galatas one of the key figures in the National Second Division creation as speaker at Money In Sport 2023 on 6 July.

As Football Australia announced 26 Clubs last week left vying for positions in the NSD, we will hear from Nick on what the NSD will add to the Australian football landscape.

Nick Galatas is a leading Melbourne lawyer with over three decades of experience, primarily as a partner in a private practice firm. Nick has recently established Galatas Advisory, a legal and regulatory consultancy, focusing on sports and regulatory law, drawing on his extensive experience in the law and sports governance.
Dovetailing with his professional life, Nick served on the Board of South Melbourne FC from 2007 to 2019, chairing the board from 2008. In that role, Nick helped steer SMFC to its rebirth as a modern Australian Football Club, ready to again take its place on the national stage as a founding member of the new National Second Tier. Nick also led the negotiations with the Victorian State Government culminating in the Memorandum of Understanding with the government, the State Sport Centres Trust, Parks Victoria and others which secured the club’s future at the redeveloped Lakeside Stadium at Albert Part, Melbourne.

Nick is also a founder of the Association of Australian Football Clubs (AAFC). Established in 2017 to represent National Premier Leagues (NPL) clubs, Nick drew its Constitution and initially served as honorary legal counsel, representing AAFC in the FA governance reform process in late 2017, attended by FIFA and all key Australian football stakeholders. Subsequently, Nick was elected a director of AAFC and has served as its Chairman for almost 4 years, leading its advocacy for reform of the national second tier, including the establishment of a national second division.

We have George Donikian back to MC Money In Sport 2023 this coming 6 July 2023.

George needs no introduction to Australian public, his face and voice have graced TV and Radio for decades. Apart from International and Australian news, George is also a huge sports lover (keen Carlton Football Club fan and big supporter of The World Game).

For those coming in from overseas here is a little intro into who George Donikian is;

George Donikian first came to national attention in 1980, when Australian TV guru Bruce Gyngell described him as the “Face of Multiculturalism”, after choosing him to anchor, what would become, the much-acclaimed SBS World News.

9 years later, George was wooed to the all-powerful Nine Network by legendary TV executive Sam Chisholm to host a national Late-Night News Show on Nine.
The idea was short lived however when Graham Kennedy ‘s return to Nine, that decision meant George’s news aspirations had to be put on hold.

However, the King of Comedy did convince George to join him as his personal newsman, for what would become the top rating national show, Coast to Coast.
Whilst at Nine, George read the National News and was a regular on the Today Show with George Negus and Liz Hayes and was a part of Nine’s famed Wide World of Sports and Sports Sunday programs with Ian Chappell, Mike Gibson and Max Walker.

Following Kennedy’s departure from Nine, George moved to the TEN Network in 1991.

Whilst at TEN, George covered the 2000 Olympics, The Rugby Union World Cup and the ICC Tournament featuring Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur, held in Melbourne.

In 2011, after 21 years at TEN, George Donikian left the Newsroom, to set up Donikian Media. His departure, brought to an end a full time career in television.
All up, George has worked for more than 45 years in media, as a news anchor for 3 national networks.

Donikian Media allows George the opportunity to pursue the kind of projects that fulfil him, or allow him to do the sorts of things he couldn’t do, whilst working full time.

Currently he is the non-executive Chair of the streaming radio App FNR, or Football National Radio.

In 2018, he filmed a 5-part travel documentary series on Armenia, titled “A Journey Through Armenia” which featured on the SBS On Demand platform.

In 2019, George was the anchor for online news platform The Informer, which he left midway through 2021, to consult on the changing face of media.
