Our friends at showing off the Little Joe 100% grass-fed, 4+ marble score beef from southern Australia -- available in SA exclusively though us here at Matchless Food.
Here, Patch has topped the Little Joe beef with luxurious foie gras butter, served alongside braised witlof and drizzled with a deep and delicious beef jus. Get up to to Stirling and give it a go!

Our Story

According to the seasons, we produce a frequently changing fresh, wholesome and enticing menu, which is locally sourced wherever possible. Patch also caters for people with intolerances, and has something on the menu to appeal to most, including children. The restaurant is in beautiful historic premises located in the Adelaide Hills between the villages of Stirling and Aldgate. The rambling villa and gardens provide ample spaces for adults to enjoy breakfast and lunch or a special event, as well as play areas for kids.

We would love to help you make your next event as memorable as it should be. Patch has various areas and menu options to suit all occasions. Book out the rear fenced garden area with it’s heated pagoda style marquees and clear removable walls, kids play area and stone barn or you may just want the front terrace and petanque piste to entertain your guests. Perhaps it is a private dinner party and you prefer to dine inside? Well you can book that out exclusively or the entire premises on any day or night after 3pm! Need a private meeting room? Patch Kitchen & Garden launched in November 2014, after an extensive renovation of the handsome old villa and adjoining retail space, which has long been used and loved by locals. The building has had a rich history since 1885, when it was Stirling’s original post office and general store. Patch’s warm and modern renovation was designed by architect James Schueler of Hand-Cut Design, and seeks to reflect simpler days through quirky references to things you would find in your grandfather’s shed, complete with its timber racks, assorted tools and pot plants. The Patch team feel honoured to be responsible for this next chapter in the life of this building, and see it as a hub for the community, where people gather to relax, connect, and enjoy.
