Struggle getting enough protein in?

Well this protein filled overnight weetbix is easily meal prepped so you're never rushing around choosing the poor option in the morning.

What you Need:
- Weetbix or equivalent (I do 4)
- 5-8 scoops of greek yoghurt
- Scoop of protein powder
- Fruit of choice on top (I do strawberries or banana)

1. Crush the weetbix in the bottom of your container and fill to your level with milk.
2. Mix the yoghurt and protein together in a separate bowl then spread on top of the weetbix.
3. Top with fruit of choice

When we exercise our core body temperature rises creating a stress response itself.

Due to the body adaptive mechanisms, each time we do this, it becomes better at handling higher core temperatures. Obviously during firefighting we are exposed to high heat levels, so the fitter you are will only help you stay composed and cooler during operations. πŸ₯΅

Did you know a firefighter can lose 1.2kg of sweat during operations!

In the intensity of firefighting, we sweat. A lot. It's the tangible result of hard work, dedication, and literally litres of sweat left on the frontline. Staying sharp means staying hydrated. Drink up, it's more than just a recommendation – it's a necessity.πŸš’

Not only during shift but before and after is arguably more important. Being adequately hydrated can potentially mean the difference between collapse or not.

We all know the rule, if you aren't looking after yourself how can you expect to look after anyone else?
