Owned and operated by John and Rita Mezo, this amazing facility is located in Sunbury, Victoria, only 40 Kilometres northwest Melb CBD.

With the roof line spanning 48 metres wide and 80 metres long, the arena sports a specially designed surface, made just right for Reining horses and their specialised manoeuvres among other Western disciplines.

The facility has a watered round yard, three wash bays, 6 horse walker and now expanded to included Ten fully covered stables, as well as five extra-large covered yards. Another twelve large open-air yards all made from high quality Australia Steel.
Fantastic new and clean amenities, but not to forget in the centre heart of the facility you will find the spectacular viewing and Lunch room, a great place to rest, chat and laugh with likeminded people.

If it’s quiet you are looking for, there is a fully self-contained two-bedroom, beautiful designed new BnB cabin to hang your Hat while you enjoy stay.

What had started as a private facility has now grown into the Mezo’s sharing their 20-acre property with the public.

2 Day Horsemanship Clinic
Date: 21st & 22nd October
Venue: Melbourne Equine Western Training Facility Sunbury Vic

In this Clinic Allan will be working on Groundwork & Foundation work.

PROGRESSIVE WORK: Apart from a basic groundwork warmup this is a fun, challenging and predominantly ridden clinic. Walk, trot and canter are covered in this class, riders are challenged with more advanced maneuvers,

FOUNDATION: This class has a mixture of groundwork and riding, with an emphasis on tying the groundwork to basic riding foundation. Most of the riding is done at the walk and trot covering all the basic moves, this enables participants to establish a solid foundation in a slow methodical fashion. This class is essential if a person is interested in advancing with their horse regardless of the discipline. Snaffle bits only, no tie downs, martingales, or crossover nosebands.
