RETINOL = RESULTS 💥

This b&a is just a progress picture to show you the difference the introduction of just 1 key skincare product can make… retinol! Brightening of unwanted pigmentation & refined skin texture.

We have not even started our pigmentation treatment plan in the above images, simply the results in us preparing the skin for a professional peel using our 1% retinol serum.

If you aren’t seeing the same results from your retinol, it may no be as potent as you think, you could be using it incorrectly, it could be too harsh for you skin, you may not be using it enough or simply… it could be a crappy retinol product.

MILIA 👋🏼

Milia are harmless cysts containing keratin (the skin protein). They can appear anywhere on the face but are commonly found on the eyelids, cheeks and nose.

They should only be extracted by professionals 🙋🏼‍♀️ We have two techniques for milia removal. Firstly, we can “de-roof” the lesion using a sterile needle and squeeze out the contents. Our second option involves using our diathermy device to remove the lesions.

We will choose the appropriate technique based on the number of lesions, location and size.

A 3 minute treatment that’s actually quite gentle but stimulates a rapid response in the skin 🔥

We always celebrate the end of year a little early at Elements… partly because December is so busy, but mainly because between us there are so many kids birthdays in December we can never find a day 😂

Hello 👋🏼 I’m one of the new faces at Elements! I am a Dermal Clinician, I completed my Bachelor Degree in 2021… Kristina and I actually studied together & met at VU 👯‍♀️

You’ll find this sweet, smiley face here on Saturdays. Darian started at Elements as a client, she then decided to complete her Diploma of Beauty Therapy, starting working on our front desk while she studied and then stepped into the treatment room during 2021 😍

Where can we find you on your days off?
👉🏼 I work during the week in a completely different role, so a big part of my “days off” is actually at Elements because I love treating and being with the team on Saturdays 😝 I also love spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and supporting my partner on his marathon adventures 🏃🏽‍♀️💕

What is your go-to treatment for client results?
👉🏼 At the moment it has to be Laser Genesis, it’s helped with my post-Acne redness and scarring with no downtime after the treatment.

What is your favourite treatment to receive for your skin?
👉🏼 I started at Elements as a client after a sudden outburst of adult Acne. I was having regular enzymes and chemical peels to manage the Acne which worked amazing so these will always be my favourite 😻

Hello, my name is Mariann 🌻 I’ve been a Holistic Therapist for over 15 years now. Initially starting off as a Mental Health practitioner, Nutritional counsellor, Naturopathist and now more recently, a Beauty Therapist 😍 I’ve been lucky enough for my career to take me to many exciting places, such as South America, East Africa, Europe, and now Sunbury.

Where can we find you outside of work?
➡️ Practising Yoga 🧘‍♀️ I love anything that involves the outdoors, the beach and the sunshine. Spending quality time with my amazing family and friend and my beautiful children who I adore to pieces ❤️

What is your favourite treatment to perform at Elements?
➡️ I enjoy performing all the treatments really. I love skin consultations and making the connection between health and lifestyle and how that has an effect on the skin… and finding the best way to treat it. I also like preforming the DMK enzyme therapy and lately I’ve enjoyed preforming electrolysis 🙌🏼

What is your favourite treatment to receive at Elements?
➡️ I would have to say the DMK enzyme therapy, I love the reverse osmosis sensation, it’s difficult to explain but you can actually feel your skin detoxifying and tightening.

What is your favourite moisturiser at the moment?
➡️ At the moment I’ve enjoyed using Biogen C with the herb and mineral mist. I like how it’s not only a firming moisturiser for mature skin but also how it desensitises the skin against hay fever and allergies to dust and pollen. I get pretty bad allergies myself and feel that it’s been quite helpful when I use it in the evenings. I also really love the Biretix duo anti blemish and imperfection gel, it has a really nice consistency and smells beautiful. 🌸

Where can we find you on your days off?
👉🏼 I’m usually busy entertaining my beautiful nieces, taking them out and about, I love to salsa 💃🏼, spend time with family & go out for dinner with my friends.

What is your go-to treatment for client results?
👉🏼 I’ve been seeing great results from our new mask and milk peel treatments, I also love combining enzyme therapy with skin tightening & laser genesis.

What is your favourite moisturiser at the moment & why?
👉🏼 I’ve been using a mix of Mesoestetic after my Cosmelan procedure and also some new products from .aunz that I love, mainly the hyalceutic in the morning and actibiome / melacream in the evenings ☺️

CLEANSE 🪄

Are you cleansing thoroughly? We recommend a gentle formula to single cleanse in the morning, and depending on your skin type / concern a custom cleanser in the evening to thoroughly remove make up, pollution, excess oil, whilst still supporting a healthy skin barrier and function.

If you find your skin is screaming for moisturise after a cleanse, feeling super tight / dry - it is definitely a sign to adjust your cleanser!

We have 7 different cleansers at Elements - so that we can select the perfect one for your unique skin ⭐️
