Last market day I sold a skirt to a lovely lady and it was so good seeing her so excited about it .... She left only to return about half hour later with it on and came & showed me.
She had the biggest smile 😃
It looked fantastic

She was that excited and happy and just literally glowing, showing it off , swirling it around.
She was in love 🖤
I adore it when my customers come and show me their purchase, modelling it and saying how happy it makes them .
It's something I am really going to miss when I finish up.
It's feeling real now and I dreamt about it last night, waking up quite sad .

This is my 6️⃣ year doing Sahaja SC and sadly it's my last. Yes 🥲 after much thought & deliberation I have decided it is time to move forward and focus on my husband's business together & have more time for my kids & animals.
I'm in a situation now where I work during the week doing physical outdoor gardening work. Three days contracting , then with my husband in his arboriculture business two days, as well as keeping his books as well as sahajaSC' s.

Last market hit me and my husband said, it's now Sunday , do you really feel like working ?
I was ready for a sleep in tbh, rest my weary bones, get out of this crazy heat and to be with my family down the beach & having a good time.

I've always worked shift work , early mornings 4am starts, late nights til 10pm , weekends .
I've never really had just a regular 9-5 job EVER.
I'm now 50 . My kids are teens . It's time .
My husband needs me for his business and so I need to let go . I need to be there for him.

Another reason is I have two suppliers in Bali .
Unfortunately my main man, an Aussie guy that managed an exporting business that helped me start 🙏🏼 , I never got to meet him , just a fluke over the internet and was wonderful to me, looking after me passed away last year.
Since then I have found it increasingly hard to have my items shipped at a decent price .
Eg $80- $100 Aust per throw rug is what they are wanting . Just totally unreasonable.
They now refuse to budge . I'm trying to beg and barter but it's just not happening so I have had to cancel two orders.
Not to rat on Bali and it's people . It's just like everything else in the world . It's all going up . Since Covid things have changed . They need to do what they need to do . They are the most beautiful people & Bali is a special place .

My other supplier is wonderful. Nothing is a problem and $80 a box shipping etc . Here in no time . I am forever grateful for this amazing service .

Because I try and do my own designs it's very time consuming and very hard . I don't want to be like the mainstream ordering from eBay or whatever , mass manufactured items and then putting my mark up on. I see alot of that going on.
These people manage to avoid massive shipping costs, airfrieght, taxes, import duties etc so they are smart but also to me it's not being true. Anyone can order from eBay. I put alot of effort into my designs and ordering and therefore I have to pay a higher price .
This makes my retail prices ATM unjustifiable unfortunately. The taxes, shipping and duties make them unreachable alot of the time .
I spend my days off wheeling dealing and emailing etc . It's very time absorbing . Again time I could be spending with my family .

I thank everyone for all the amazing support 🙏🏼 gosh I've had a good time, meeting amazing people. I love my market buddies and the people I meet, it's my social 🫶🏼

Crickeys it's bloody hot isn't it ....what a corker of a Summer we have had here on The Coast. Secretly happy I will not have to deal with this on Sunday at the markets. I don't think I'd make packing up .
It's a killer at the best of times in the middle of the day.

It's the day before school starts & I'm putting family first.
It's a big year start for my kids with change and new beginnings. I'd like to be around for them this weekend.
