Jo is ready to start Art Workshops with you all!

Please send through your expressions of interest asap. First class will be numbers based- spots are limited and will be run on a Thursday (to begin with, we will add more days as demand increases) in Swan Hill.
Jo offers the following classes at The Green House. Please let us know which of the following workshops you’re interested in & whether you’d prefer a 1:1 or group session.

• contemporary raffia basket making
• experimental drawing & illustration
• experimental painting
• creative visual story telling through collage & journelling
• relief printmaking using made and found materials
• mosaic art (on pots/saucers/coasters/other usable items)

bio:
Jo Osborne lives in Nyah, located on the Murray River in rural Victoria. Much of Jo’s creative art pieces are informed by the Australian landscape and its colours, making connection with botanical growth and natural occuring patterns. Her current artistic practice consists of basket making, drawing & woodturning.

Jo studied fine arts after leaving school. She has since completed a BA in Creative Arts (hons) at Latrobe. Her art work is located in private collections in both Australia and internationally.

Fig Supports welcome both NDIS AND Private participants to our workshops. We look forward to helping you explore your artistic side!

Jo has been with our other business Booths Cleaning since May 2024. Seeing so much more potential in Jo we’ve asked her to come across and also work within Fig Supports in a creative social participation manner.
Jo has a Bachelor of Arts & currently studying certificate 3 in Community Services. Jo has dementia training, (food safety including allergens) and not to mention a certificate in advanced Agriculture ! Not sure if there is anything that Jo CANT do! Of course she has all the required WWCC, ndis Check etc.
Jo would love to share her creative passion with you at our new Green house located at Coronation Avenue in Swan Hill.
