We're down to the nitty gritty - The Senate.

In Queensland, 3 of the 6 seats have already been decided, with 2 Lib, one Labor.

It looks convincing that Greens will get 1 and Labor their 2nd. The final seat is a fight between Pauline Hanson herself and Legalise Cannabis. Go the t**e. 🚬

Looks like UAP won't scrape in 😁

It can be weeks before a final call is made due to the more complex method of surplus and preference flow in the Senate.

Here's hoping we see Pauline Hanson in Centrelink come June.

For those unfamiliar with Senate methodology, it works on a quota method ((Number of formal ballot papers / (Number of senators to be elected + 1)) rounded down + 1 = Senate quota).

Essentially, once a candidate hits 1, they are elected, any extra (surplus) goes to the preferences until 6 candidates are elected.

If there still aren't 6 candidates, the party with the lowest is excluded and preferences transferred until all 6 seats are filled.

I think I'm still hungover.
