If you haven't been to the Ettamogah Comedy Club at the Ettamogah Hotel, what are you waiting for?

The first Thursday of the month is quickly becoming a favourite for those who favour the funny. Once a month the best comedians in Australia climb into the hills to bring the hilarity to you!

This month we have everyone's favourite purple puppet - Randy Feltface, with the amazing Al Del Bene as MC to guide you through the night. Joining them as usual will be some of Sydney's best and brightest up and coming superstars.

RANDY

Fresh off the back of a world tour and a brief appearance on an American reality television show, Randy returns to Australia with an hour of stand-up comedy so unflinchingly relevant you’ll feel like you should be taking notes.

Randy Feltface has spent fifteen years carving out a unique niche on the international comedy circuit. He was nominated for best comedy at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, played an eight week off-broadway season in New York City in 2018, featured several times at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and his special Randy Writes a Novel is a pirated Youtube sensation.

He penned and starred in his own ABC scripted comedy Ricketts Lane alongside his skinny comedy husband Sammy J, a role that earned him an AACTA award nomination for best comedy performance. His occasional guest appearances on light entertainment television programs in his native Australia have earned him much respect and an average income and he most recently infiltrated American television as a contestant on NBC’s Bring The Funny.

Randy’s live show is a high-energy existential crisis full of the kind of amusing anecdotes and biting observations that have earned him the title of World’s Most Entertaining Non-Human Comedian.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The Ettamogah Hotel

A family friendly venue with a large playground, arcade and rock climbing wall as well as function spaces and a large beer garden. A large, quality bistro is complimented by their own woodfire pizza oven for delicious pizzas. Multiple bars in a friendly and relaxed environment with delicious food all day.

Thursday is Parma night with $15 Parmas.

Get in early for dinner as we cannot guarantee seating for diners during the show. The bistro is open before the show with limited space for diners in the show. Make sure you get in early for dinner or go for finger food in the show.

Doors open at 7pm with the show starting at 7:30pm

There is ample on site parking. Don't drink and drive, get a desingated driver. Public transport options are available via North West Metro and/or North West T-Way buses. The Ettamogah operates a courtesy bus, contact the venue for bistro and bus booking inquiries on (02) 9629 1130

Join us February 6th at the Ettamogah Hotel for Luke Heggie

Luke Heggie is one of Australia's most in demand and recognisable stand up comedians.

The first thing he did as a stand up was win the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's 2010 Raw Comedy competition.

Since 2012, Heggie has produced a one hour show every year, each one better then the last, all touring Australia to sell out crowds.

His debut show Master of None earned him the title of Time Out Sydney's Best Comedian. Soon after that he performed at the New York Comedy Festival, and Just for Laughs at the Sydney Opera House.

In 2015, Luke was awarded the Sydney Comedy Festival's Director's Choice Award for his show You're Not Special. His 2016 show Anythink is Possible was aired on ABC Comedy as part of the Next Generation series, and earned an ARIA nomination for Best Comedy Release.

2017 saw Luke perform Rough Diamanté to crowds across the Australian Festival circuit. Punters and fellow comedians couldn't get enough of his harsh but fair shows about idiots and he was quick to sell out every show and was rightfully awarded the Comedian's Choice Award in Melbourne (AKA Piece of Wood). Luke then went on to make his London debut with a 1 week run of Rough Diamanté in August at the popular Soho Theatre.

Luke’s 2018 show Tiprat was a hit across the Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and New Zealand Festivals, and saw a return to London’s Soho theatre where some soft losers walked out. Tiprat was filmed in Newtown in mid 2018 and the result has earned him his second Aria nomination for Best Comedy Release.

Luke's 2019 show Have That sold out across Australian festivals, and was filmed at the Metro Theatre, Sydney, for release in August 2019.
