Happy Easter Holidays from the team here @ Her GP Beecroft We are running a preventative #TreatYourHealthTuesday campaign. We are starting it with a free flu vaccination clinic on Tuesday 11 April (tomorrow!) and Tuesday 18 April between 11-3pm. The school holidays are the perfect opportunity to get on top of your health and the health of your family. It is important to get vaccinated against influenza every year, as each year the influenza virus changes and different strains can circulate in the population. Last year, the influenza season began earlier compared to recent years, with a peak number of cases in early June. That means that now is the ideal time to get vaccinated. We know that vaccinated individuals are roughly far less likely to get influenza or severe influenza than unvaccinated people, with young children being at highest risk.
