Introducing Anish Poudel, the promising all-rounder of the NBCC club. Back in the 2022 NCA season, he may not have had much experience and started as an underdog, but he defied the odds and performed admirably, earning his place in the squad.
Amidst the ups and downs of the previous season, Anish's relentless hard work paid off, securing his spot as a valuable all-rounder. This year, he's taken on a new role as an opening bowler, providing crucial support from one end to Ronish.
In the last NCA season, Anish scored a modest 55 runs from 11 innings and took 7 wickets. However, as time passed, he dedicated himself to improving his bowling skills. To date, he has notched an impressive 37 wickets across different leagues, boasting an average of 6.40.

What a sensational start to the season it has been for the NBCC cricket team! The boys in Yellow took on Saipal Warriors Club in a thrilling encounter and emerged victorious with a fantastic win by 37 runs. 🎉🙌

One of the standout performances of the day came from our very own Bibek, who set the pitch on fire with his explosive shots. He hammered his way to a remarkable 31 runs, unleashing 3 fours along the way. But Bibek didn't stop there; he also showcased his prowess with the ball, taking a brilliant 3 wickets to contribute significantly to our team's triumph. 🔥🏏

Not to be outdone, NBCC's returning star player, Utsav Tripathee, made sure he left his mark on the season opener. Utsav's quick 16 runs, featuring one glorious four and a mighty six, added crucial runs to our total and helped set the tone for the match. 🌟💪

Meet Rupesh Gautam, the dynamic wicket-keeper batsman of NBCC club. At just 22 years old, this young sensation is already making waves as a hard-hitting batsman in the team. While his performance in the NCA last year showed promise, consistency with the bat was his challenge.
Ranked at 49 in the NCA, Rupesh accumulated a total of 116 runs from 11 innings, showcasing his aggressive mindset at the crease. However, this year has seen a remarkable transformation in his game. Thanks to the mentoring of his opening partner, Rajesh, Rupesh has found newfound consistency.
He's already notched up 3 half-centuries, with his highest score being an impressive 75 runs, all at an outstanding strike rate of 116.64.

This past Saturday, NBCC (Nepalese Blades Cricket Club) faced off against the Western Lion Cricket Team in a thrilling cricket match that had fans on the edge of their seats. And what a match it turned out to be! NBCC emerged victorious by 27 runs, thanks to an outstanding performance by our team.

The standout feature of the match was undoubtedly the incredible partnership between our openers, Rupesh and Rajesh. They showcased their batting prowess and teamwork, contributing a fantastic 115-run partnership to NBCC's total score. Both Rupesh and Rajesh notched up half-centuries, scoring 50 runs each for the team.

2022-2023 Jersey Distribution Program

We appreciate the support from KTM Consulting Group Sydney this season and the extensive aid and direction you have given to our Club. The introduction for today's programme came from Nepalese Blades CC captain SthaaBijay Shrestha Bijay Shrestha who discussed the club’s objectives and the difficulties faced by the club. Durba dai has expressed his opinion of our club and his goals for it. He discussed his background and how he could support our players in several areas. Bijay Shrestha presented the jersey to our players and the KTM consulting team at the conclusion of the programme, which was followed by a brief brunch at Muglan Rockdale.

With all of the team's veteran players leaving, this year was a terrific one for Nepalese Blade Cricket Club. Bijay gave up trying to assemble a team. However, they were able to assemble a fresh batch of players with no prior experience thanks to the new management. Despite the team's ups and downs, KTM Consulting Group Sydney and ACE(australian college of Excellence) was still able to sponsor the Nepalese Blade Cricket club for the current season. We want to express our gratitude to Bhumi dai for helping the team and giving them hope that they can compete in the greatest event for the Nepalese community. Weekend Wrap:

Nepalese Blade Cricket Club (NBCC) won the match by 6 wickets against The Next Rising Cricket Club (TNRCC). TNRCC: 142/8 ( Anish: 4-0-38-3, Bijay: 4-0-16-3, Saundra: 4-0-20-1). NBCC: 144/4 ( Rajesh: 53 not out off 35, Ramesh: 22 not out off 54, Depanshu: 3-0-12-1)

The match between the two teams was intense. Where the TNRCC was able to score 80 runs quickly and was outperforming the NBCC bowler. The NBCC captain Bijay and Samundra demonstrate how to reenter the match and reduce TNRCC's run rate using their experience.Anish, who was playing in his third t20 encounter and gaining experience, was able to quickly take three wickets, putting pressure on the opposition.
The NBCC batsmen are under a great deal of pressure to reach the enormous target of 143 runs. owing to the early dismissals of both of their openers. The captain arrived at a first down to relieve tension. But the TNRCC bowler didn't give Bijay enough time to calm down, as he only managed 7 runs with 1 six. After losing 4 wickets, NBCC was down to 50-4 when Rajesh arrived to offer the squad some encouragement. He began his innings with a traditional batting stance. Ramesh was forming a partnership with his single run strategy and applying pressure to the opposition in order to assist Rajesh in scoring runs.Ramesh scored 22 not out off 54 balls with 1 four while Rajesh managed to get his first half century with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Rajesh and Bijay were named man of the match for their efforts to guide their team to a second victory.

Weekend Wrap:

The kangaroo Cricket Club (TKCC) defeated Nepalese Blades Cricket Club (NBCC) by a 6 wickets. NBCC: 112/9 (Anish 25 not out off 28, Rupesh 28 off 35, Shivajung 4-0-13-2).TKCC: 113/4 (Rumash 3-0-16-2, Anish 3-0-11-1, Rabin 2-0-12-1)

In a thrilling encounter, Rupesh and Anish were able to withstand the pressure and raise the intensity of the game after the early dismissals of Rabin and Ayush. Anish used his traditional batting style to get a quick run along with 2 fours, while Rupesh used his powerful hitting to knock 3 sixes and lead the NBCC in defending the goal of 112. However, NBCC was unable to defend against TKCC's hitting lineup.

People have traditionally felt closer to one another when playing cricket. In terms of family, Amadablam Blazers have consistently backed Nepalese Blade cricket throughout the journey. Along with the new face, Samundra, an old friend, will be a crucial member of the team due to his expertise in the game. The team's new face is made up of Rupesh Gautam, Ayush Dahal, Rumesh Gyawali, Ramesh Sapkota, Amir and Anish Pokhrel. Samundra, Rabin, Ronish, Martin and Rajesh will be the names to watch out for in terms of experience.
