LEVEL 28 - Our EcoFriendly Collection 🌿

Regular acetate frames are mainly composed from cellulose acetate, which is a material derived from plants (like wood pulp, cotton, sugarcane and other vegetal-based sources). Not so bad right?

However, fossil-fuel (oil-based) plasticizers are added to this mix and used to create acetate products. This introduces a whole host of chemicals and processes that aren’t very good for the planet.

Rather than using fossil fuels, Level 28 Eco Friendly bio-acetate frames are made with an organic, plant-based, phthalate-free plasticizer.

All these fancy words mean that our plant-based collection is made from natural and renewable resources.

Don't worry - you won't end up with compost on your face - these frames are just as durable and reliable as traditional acetate frames (just with a more planet-friendly vibe).

Optometrists and ophthalmologists complement each other's skills. If an optometrist detects an ocular disease or injury, they may refer the patient to an ophthalmologist for advanced care.
