Haematologists identify and manage blood disorders. At Manly Haematology we provide patient-focused care. We take time to listen and explain.
We embrace secure medical technology and understand that accurate information results in better care. Haematology is a medical specialty concerned with the identification and management of blood and bone marrow disorders. Manly Haematology is specialist haematology clinic in the heart of Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We provide comprehensive, patient-focused care. We are a general haematolog
y clinic but specialise in benign (non-malignant) disease. Examples of disorders treated include venous thromboembolism, abnormal blood counts, paraprotein and bleeding disorders, and the investigation of lymphadenopathy and splenomegaly. During a consultation, you will receive a comprehensive assessment, with an in-depth analysis of any investigation results, and a management plan. We take the time to listen and believe that it is important that patients are engaged in their healthcare. Our emphasis is on providing a long-term relationship with our patients where communication is a key priority. Our online Patient Portal allows you to access all your Manly Haematology information and appointment details at any time. You can also upload your own documents, blood results, photographs, and correspondence from other healthcare providers to our Patient Portal. We are integrated with local pathology and radiology providers to ensure we have up-to-date results, avoiding unnecessary duplication. If required, we can review your My Health Record for any other relevant results, hospital discharge summaries, or specialist letters. We are a contemporary specialist clinic that maximises the benefits of medical technology and secure communications. We understand that greater visibility of accurate and up-to-date information results in safer and enhanced patient care. Frequently Asked Questions
