Christmas is an essential time to wind down but it's important to always remember your footprint over the season. We are focusing on sustainability over the festive season by providing family farm grown and local produce.
Come down and enjoy locally grown cherries, stone fruit, stout minced pies, panforte and a lovely bunch or two of Xmas bush.🌲

Freshly picked,..hydrangeas and roses.,bakery; Xmas mice pies and fruit bread.

What a delight to know where our flowers come from. The beautiful Colosi family are to be applauded for their dedication and hard work at Kemps Creeks. They are holding onto the little land that's left in the Sydney basin. Bravo!!

Hi Folks, we are back!! With exciting news, we are opening this Saturday 28th October. Starting smallish but some of our old faithful stallholders will be with us, hoping to grow organically in time.

Hi folks, Thanks for your patience and kind enquiries during the pause on our weekly markets.

After much consideration, sadly we’ve decided we won’t be reopening Sydney Sustainable Markets at Taylor Square.

It’s been a pleasure to serve our community and bring farm fresh produce and other goodies into the heart of the city for the past 12 years.

Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful farmers and stall holders for showing up rain, hail or shine. We love your commitment to beautiful, fresh, sustainable produce.

And finally a huge thank you to our market community for being amazing and showing up every week - it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Did someone say garlic? 🧄🧄🧄

Organically, regeneratively and sustainably grown local garlic this Saturday from our new Southern Highlands Natural Farm stall.

Farmers Aaron & Vanessa have given us some insight into how they make garlic magic happen.

“Our 30-acre farm is situated in Burradoo along the Wingecarribee River, in the Southern Highlands of NSW.

We use organic and regenerative farming systems and principles which have been set up and developed under the guidance of Peter Andrews OAM. These include managed hydrology, on farm mulching and composting, wetland regeneration and biodiversity development. Our primary aim is to improve the soil biome and fertility to grow naturally nutrient rich food free from chemicals and of the highest quality.

Our garlic is hand planted seed grown on our farm or sourced from likeminded regional growers, naturally feed by our regenerative compost, hand weeded and harvested.

We are passionate about growing natural, nutrient rich food sustainably and without chemicals with the goal of demonstrating regenerative farming practices can be commercially viable.”
