Spring is here...Lift up your mood ladies!

1) Eat what makes you feel good but in moderation. Eating the meals you really enjoy makes it so much more sustainable.

2) Replace processed carbs such as white bread, chips and pasta with slow-release energy sources, such as brown rice or quinoa.

3) Have quick 30-60 mins naps while your baby is sleeping, to make you feel more energised and lift up your mood. Chamomile tea has been used as a medicinal herb for centuries and used as a natural stress reducer. It has been shown to promote restful sleep and reduce symptoms of anxiety.

4) Adopt the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, from Kai (change) and Zen (wisdom). Adapt your eating habits and make small but continuous improvements. You will notice the mood uplift.

5) Watch your baby sleep and you will realise that it was all worth it.
