📫 While the free redirectory initiative for victims of domestic violence is commendable the OVERSIGHT in sending confirmation of the redirection to to the original address (often the home of the abuser they are trying to protect themself from) not only undermines the safety measures but also potentially exposes victims to further risk ⚠️⚠️⚠️

How is this LOGICAL?!

Victims of domestic violence can often be asset-rich but lack the access to funds to leave due to financial control and hyper-surveillance exerted by their abuser. Victims are often intelligent, tertiary-educated, beautiful humans hiding in plain sight.

I welcome your thoughts and suggestions on this matter. It seems like Australia Post has no clue how domestic violence operates and it’s time for a wake-up call 📣📢📣
